South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It perhaps would have been astonishing to anyone who knew him to find the panther settled in the pin with the wolverine, engaging in her childish antics. Then again, it wasn't as if there was anyone who truly knew the panther man. For a majority of his life he was bound to a world of cruel isolation. He had no friends, and certainly no lovers. It was only recently that he'd found Tobias and Nadya and even so they too seemed too preoccupied with their own lives to be terribly bothered with the lonely, anguished fellow - not that he would ever openly admit his feelings. Instead he'd continued to keep to himself, hardly even willing to tell them where he had been the past ten or so years of their lives. It was his job, to protect them from the cruelties of the world he was submersed in, even if he seemed to be doing a rather terrible job of it of late. It was possible that their scent coating her frame contributed to his willingness to engage in such actions with her - whatever it was, however, was enough to momentarily stall his efforts to escape if only because he was assured they were at least hidden for the time being. His emerald gaze watched the makeshift ball bounce back towards the wolf, her figure clearly quite ready for this game of fetch. Slowly, his body lowered to the ground, his butt wiggling ever so slightly in anticipation of the spherical animal's return.

He launched himself forward the moment that the ball left her paw, his own paw effortlessly bounced the ball back towards her, pivoting in mid movement to catch the second that was launched within his direction. Lightly, his paw rested on top of the small animal, his emerald eyes shifting towards the young girl with an almost mischievous glint to them. He'd purposefully paused, attempting to wait till the female was distracted by the first critter before sending the other one rapidly spinning within her direction. Tetradore was far too used to what play was like with Tobias. Every so-called game had it's own spin, it's own secretive fashion in which the boys did their best to out do each other. It was an art Tetradore was beginning to perfect once again - however, with the boy's scent so pungent upon the woman's coat, he suspect she too had the same experience. It was a test of sorts, an inquisitive glimpse to see just how much time that she spent with the spotted feline.

Unfortunately for Tetradore, he hardly was given the opportunity to give too much of his focus to the curious lupine in front of him, a sound at the door of their hallway immediately caused the panther to freeze. His emerald gaze slid towards the bars settled on the ground just outside of the enclosure where an armadillo was already beginning to crawl out. His ears swiveled to an erect position upon his cranium, intently listening to the sound of the door squeak open as pressure was pushed on it. Shit. He was thankful for the dim lights in the place as he cautiously crept over towards the opening of the enclosure, taking the opportunity of the girl's distraction with the animals within the first cage to stealthy reach out and scoop the animal up in his mouth, depositing it safely back into it's enclosure. He leaned over, the smallest drip of saliva parting from his mouth to land upon the bars on the ground. They would dissolve - he could only hope that it would occur quick enough that she wouldn't notice their break in until she was right up against the enclosure. Perhaps he'd bought them time. Frankly he could only hope he did and with his task done the panther pivoted upon his heels, his paws taking him back toward the peculiar colored female.
