South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya was pleased when Frost joined her and reached to accept that offered container of food. To anyone else it would have seemed like a simple exchange but over the years Nadya had learned his tells. That same shift and averting his gaze was the same he did when he had caught a glimpse of her skin before they were together. That knowing smirk brushed her features as she settled back in her spot with her own snack. The smirk shifted at the mention of his work. It was bound to come up in this difficult conversation but it didn't mean she liked to hear it. Nadya detested that he worked with the Council...in proximity to Hunters. After everything they had done. While he went off to work with them...she hunted them in the woods like sheep.

She turned her head away from Frost as he explained the reason for his absence. More so to keep her mind clear from thinking of her hunts. Although she knew Frost always said he gave her privacy, she also knew that some abilities couldn't be helped. "All I know about Mongolia is they have yaks...according to the pictures they showed in school." Nadya blinked back at the vague memory of those posters of the hairy beasts hanging on the wall in the school library. "I hope you got what you needed out of it." She nibbled on a cracker and watched Frost enjoy his salad.

The corners of her mouth turned down slightly at the mention of the twins and turned her gaze down to the blanket. "I...I needed them." She sighed softly, "They're growing up too fast. It feels like just yesterday they were-..." Her voice trembled slightly as her hands gestured to the very size of a newborn. Losing their unborn child had only made Nadya realize how much she had missed that stage and the uncertainty of if she would ever get that again. With a slow breath she continued, "They're almost 5. I was 5 when I first felt the moon's pull. They were 6 months. They're so much stronger...and yet...didn't even know the first thing about hunting. I felt like I had...failed them in some way. Between you being gone and the mis-" She had to take another slow breath. "miscarriage...I needed them."

Nadya had certainly lost her appetite at this point but finally raised her gaze back up to meet Frost's. "I was thinking though we could have some time together. Once the holidays are over I can take the twins to my parents and we can have our own getaway. No kids. No work. No Hunters. Just us. We can go someplace like..mmm..Barcelona. Explore and take in the sites...or...stay in the room all day." All she could do was wait and see if Frost even cared for her company anymore.
