South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Whatever inner strength the young curly haired woman had it was not enough to be seen. Broken and battered all thoughts that she did not deserve mistreatment was hardly realized. She was conditioned to believe such things. All her young life she was instructed to not speak, to not retaliate, and always follow whatever command was given from the lowest rank all the way to the highest. Never was she given the chance to play as her kin or to take in whatever fellowship the pack was engaged in. Reminded by all that although they were blood she could never belong with them. Through the years of torment and the constant attacks she had subtly held it all inside. The bitterness, the anguish, and the desperate desire to show anyone that she could become something they never thought she could if only to prove they were wrong. That opportunity never did come. She had performed exactly as they always said she would and she would carry that burden the rest of her life. The belief that she could be something good, a creature that deserved to live as others was dashed away. All along her pack was correct and she would admit to their accurate claim.

It was part of the reason why she became so docile when the two men approached her. She knew her place and accepted it. Obediently she stretched her arms out and lowered her neck allowing the smaller man to wrap the silver chains around her pale flesh. The scent of skin burning, and watching how the metal tore at her skin, was enough to cause the girl to hold her breath. Although she knew she would not attack them she would not stop them from taking precaution. How could she blame them when the past brought evidence that she was not a creature to be trusted. Always she hated being touch. Touch brought nothing but pain. The way the steely-eyed blonde stroked her neck underneath her waterfall of golden-brown curls caused the young woman to cringe as she ducked her head away. It was the approach of Isolt that had caught her attention and as she explained to the young vampire that everything was okay she was appalled to see that it fell on deaf ears. The sound of bones breaking near her ear caused the woman to flinch away as a soft whimper came from the girl as she watched with horror Isolt ripping his hand from her neck and moving it in such a way that his bones would start to break. She watched as he began to rise to his feet the low growls rumbling in his chest filled her ears as the roar of growls from Isolt and the other werewolf caused her to nearly go deaf. As he flashed his teeth and Isolt showed her own weaponry the young she-wolf panicked into action. Ignoring the silver chains she reached out and wrapped her hands around Isolt's forearm to keep the young vampire from causing any more harm to the blonde man. Wearily she spoke softly attempting to bring some sort of peace to this...struggle.

"Isolt...please don't...let him go...please."

Her firm on Isolt's forearm would tighten slowly as blue-grey eyes searched for the hold of the bright blues of the young vampire. She was never one that wished for harm to come to others whether they deserved it or not. In her mind no one deserved such pain and she had yet to learn that sometimes...sometimes she was blinded by this. She would only let go once she felt Isolt's firm grip start to relax. The rattling of chains chimed as she moved herself between the vampire and the blonde werewolf, the plump man following close behind with the rest of the silver chains still in his hands, unscathed. She would flinch as the blonde werewolf decided to speak in a rush of his native tongue. Shaking her head she would take a closer step towards Isolt, her soothing tones held a subtle bite to it, wanting the girl to understand that the two males were not to be messed with, for reasons known alone to Raven. This was no carwhichet.

"He's an old...friend...one that mustn't be harmed, can you understand?."

The sounds of bones popping back into place replaced the soft chirpings of crickets during this summer night. His form would move closer to Raven his one good hand snatching her shoulder and forcing her to fall back into his side, his arm sliding around her waist in a domineering state. His lips remained pulled back in a warning state. The chestnut haired man remained where he stood his accent unwavering as he spoke aloud.

"It is for your protection Miss...the Mörderin is not safe..."

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
