South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

calamity

The life I live is one big calamity

In the aftermath of the Ark's sinking, the Were-King had made every effort to ensure each of the Nightshade members had comfortably found themselves settled in their temporary dwellings. The Ark demise had brought with it a swell of work for the Were-King, from attempting to recover anything of value from the wreck to consolidating the pack's finances - how he wished it was as simple as collecting insurance and buying a new boat! The end result, admittedly, was that it had taken Tetradore far longer than he would have wanted to get back up to the cabin in the woods. He knew the route by now by heart, the Alpha had visited it frequently enough long before Raven and Tobias had taken up residence within its massive halls. He'd made a point to ensure the lodge-like cabin was perfect in every facet - from that custom build to the deeply drilled well and the filled cellars of frequently replenished frozen and canned goods. The cabin had been purposefully prepared to be ready at a moment's notice, Tetradore simply hadn't anticipated that it would be so soon...or even while he was still alive. Such thoughts, however, were buried in the back of his mind as he urged the Aventador off the highway and towards those much smaller side streets.

The vehicle was, admittedly, not the best to take on roads that eventually turned into dirt paths, weaving through the forested mountains, and yet, at least the weather was good and the ground was dry. The passenger seat beside him had a small paper bag filled to the brim with novels the bookstore store owner had recommended. Tetradore, admittedly, had never held a great interest within those novels or the stories printed upon those multitudes of pages. Many of those supposed 'classics' were all but foreign to him. What he was aware of, however, was that Raven had a love for her novels - those books all but filling her room till a second, designated 'library' had been built. It was a library that had too quickly filled to the brim - that is, until it sank to the bottom of the ocean. Books, he was assured, were impossible to recover. And so, the Were-King simply bought new ones. Surely they could be replaced just as easily as they had originally been bought, couldn't they? Even if Tetradore was oblivious of how many of those titles Raven had already read, much less her preferences on genres, topics, or authors.

The very sound of the Lamborghini's engine seemed to reverberate within the forest that surrounded the cabin, even as Tetradore pulled into the driveway. He glanced briefly at the Ford, the Were-King ensuring it too had survived the initial trip out here in the same state it had left the Ark in. The very sound of his vehicle had garnered the attention of Tobias, the deviant near quick to practically attack Tetradore the moment he stepped out of the car. It was only after some sort of catching up with the boy and an appropriate gift of cookies that Tobias scampered away with his newest treat, leaving the Were-King to venture up the porch and towards the large cabin itself, that paper bag dangling by the handle from his fingertips. "Hey, Raven?" He called out as he entered the home, the Alpha hardly bothering to knock and yet, he was certain the girl would hear him all the same.

I don't owe you a god damned thing
