South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The one night stand had been a mutual agreement. Neither one of them were looking for anything serious. She was a gypsy, never one to stay in one spot too long and he was preoccupied with finding Troy. It worked out. After all, he was always the one to remind Troy back in the day that attachments would only lead to trouble in their line of work. They were Hunters and they were almost always in imminent danger. Anyone who got too close would only end up with a target on their back and Kit wouldn't wish that on anyone, especially not someone as sweet as Sam. He had no doubt that she was capable and could take care of herself but he would never put that burden on her. Luckily, she was of the same mind set. No strings attached; that was the deal.

He never expected to see her again and he certainly didn't expect her to call him up and ask to meet. It was a pleasant surprise, though. He'd never turn her down. He just wondered if she was wanting to see him or if it was something serious. Did he do something wrong? Did she regret what happened in California? He didn't think she would call him up months later to talk about it but he didn't know a whole lot about women. He moved to sit across from her, fighting the urge to rub his sweaty palms against his pants again. Could she tell he was nervous? He was never very good at hiding his emotions. Troy was always the suave one, the charming one. He was just the quiet, pensive one. She reached for her glass of water as she greeted him and he gave her that mega watt smile.

She looked as if she was about to speak when the barista came up to get their orders. He gave his and looked expectantly at Sam as he asked her how she'd been, watching the distant look in her gaze before she seemed to remember that someone had spoken to her. His expression remained ever patient, his head tilting in amusement as he let her collect her thoughts. Finally she said she'd been good and added on that she'd missed him. His brow curled up in slight surprise that she'd admit such a thing but he couldn't help the way his smile only widened as his gaze softened. "I've missed you, too." He had no problem admitting it right back to her. But then her voice got serious when she told him she had to say something and hoped he wouldn't run.

Now the nerves were back, just as he was starting to relax. Why would she think he was going to run? His brows furrowed in puzzlement as he leaned toward her a little. "Whatever it is, you can tell me, Sam. I'm listening."
