South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

When the last moon is cast over the last star of morning
And the future has passed without even a last desperate warning

The noise of laughter and merriment could be heard in the distance as the majority of the camp congregated around a dining tent that had been erected to celebrate the winner of the race in a exorbitant feast - the first of many in the days to come as the race's participants crossed the finishing line. This was not the first race that Aislinn had witnessed run across the vast plains of Mongolia. Nor would it be the last. It was, however, the first time in which the unicorn had taken any hint of interest within the horse who won however. Her encounter with the large ivory Draft had remained at the forefront of her mind for several days afterward. He was nothing but brash and abrasive, filled with the very sort of egotism that came naturally within the males of her breed. It was, perhaps, unsurprising that a Pegasi might hold the same self-assuredness as the equally extraordinary unicorns. In fact, maybe she should have expected to receive no warmer welcome from him as she did them. What sort of man dared to insult her? To say that she was hardly any more special than an antelope on the African plains or the domestic cow! The mere remembrance of that insult still ruffled her feathers, and angrily a puff of air was expelled from her nose as the ivory maiden maneuvered behind those tents, gliding through the evening shadows.

Tonight, however, it was not him she sought out. Though she had seen his victorious win as he'd dashed across the finish line a full length ahead of his opponent, she had no words left to offer the haughty stallion. He had suggested that he was indeed the bearer of those wings, though she had yet to see even a hint of their existence again. How their very absence so caused her intrigue to fade with the passing wind. Though truly, even if he had been the Pegasus, even if he had those astonishingly angelic wings, what did it matter? His inquiry of her interest within them...within him...had left the unicorn reeling. Had she been so naïve to think that her mere existence might be enough to provoke some sort of...feeling within him? That her beauty, her righteous purity, might prompt even the winged Pegasus to falter? The wingless stallion had invited her to join him and yet she was certain he was hardly worth her time, particularly not when his words still stung her lofty pride. It was only unfortunate that the steed she did seek was beside the very stallion she was presently convincing herself to write off entirely.

Aislinn paused behind the large white and blue cloth covered yurt beside the two paddocks. The ethereal blue of her gaze skirted over the form of the two steeds - both ivory and dun seemed content to graze in the aftermath of their trying day. A softer breath of air left her nose in a wayward sigh before the celestial maiden stepped out of the shadows and alongside the fence that separated the horses from the vast plains beside her. Her neck curled in an elegant arch, the stark white of her mane draped in large perfect curls around her, falling almost effortlessly down the left side of her visage. It was the twisting and spiraling horn upon the middle of her forehead that remained her most defined feature. It seemed to radiate with an otherworldly glow tonight - a testament of the very power she intended to utilize in the moments to come. Her near serpentine tail flicked as she glided smoothly along the exterior of the fence, ignoring the ivory stallion she'd once so vehemently searched for. Rather, it was the paddock beside his that prompted the unicorn to pause - her mere presence alone was enough to enrapture the attention of the dun stallion. His head rose from his once lackadaisical grazing to stare at her with the sort of awe Aislinn was sure she deserved - the could-be Pegasi could learn a thing or two from him! Her nose reached out to him, beckoning him to her and without hesitation he abandoned those blades of grass.

It was a pity to see what the once fiery stallion had been reduced to. The fight within him had been quelled, his once reckless charge now a slow gait that prompted the depths of compassion from the unicorn. It was hardly his fault, after all, that his rider was so cold, so callous, so....reprehensible. He had done what was asked of him without hesitation, and more still! If that horrid vampire had lingered, Aislinn had every desire to show him a true death from the blinding light she could summon! How she might have liked to watch his flesh burn in vengeance for the horse he had maimed! The very thought prompted her tail to lash against her flanks though she remained where she was, waiting as the dun made his way towards her. Gingerly, her nose reached out to him, brushing against his, affording him the chance to touch her as the glow around her horn brightened inexplicably. That light seemed to momentarily surround him as the unicorn chased away the damage done to his lungs, healing the creature's body to once again be as whole as he once was. He might not have won that race - but he had fought gallantly and that, Aislinn was sure, deserved a just reward. Still...she could hardly help the way the pale blue of her irises shifted towards the stallion she once vyed for, curious, perhaps, for how he might react to this unexpected intrusion upon his peace. After all, if she was just some mere creature with a horn, what did he care about what stallion she chose to fraternize with?

Then look into the sky where through the clouds a path is torn
Look and see her how she sparkles
it's the last unicorn
