South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The young witch hadn't originally wanted to be what she was, she hadn't known what he was at the time either but being young and homeless it hadn't mattered to her at thLol, e time. She had hardly been surprised when he'd started sharing his passions with her and before she knew it, the young girl found herself transforming before her very eyes into something else. It had started easily enough, with the crafting of peculiarly colored liquids to magic occurring before her very eyes. By now, Serafina was fully aware of what she was just as much as she was aware of the supernatural world that surrounds her. Although the young girl was still ill at ease with the new role she found herself participating in, she had to admit that she did find a wicked sort of joy in the various potions she was capable of making with just the right weeds and the right touch of magic. It was that which drove her out here, past the protective layers of the city and into the wilderness beyond. Even though she was well aware of the creatures that haunted these forests. Although the weres had never been particularly nice to her, they'd atleast left her alone enough that she felt comfortable enough to venture into those forests alone.

Today, Serafina's client had wanted something rather mundane, as far as the young girl was concerned. She was terribly used to the process of love potions. They were by far their best selling item, if only for their effectiveness. Serafina had never been taught the wiccan creeds. She'd never learned the taboos against influencing others or crafting untrue emotions. In truth, Serafina wasn't even sure that it mattered to her. Her clients walked away happy, and that often meant they came back for more. The coin that lined their pockets was enough for her. Today she was looking for Jasmine. He was always insistent that they found natural herbs, always insisted the wild ones were somehow more potent then the store bought things. Serafina wasn't sure if he was being truthful but he always seemed to know the difference - enough so that she was often trampling through the forests searching for whatever they'd run out of or soon would need more of.

She had been quite diligent in her searching and had been rewarded with a handful of goodies that surely would be put to use when the sound of voices nearby interrupted her. Curiosity had always been one of her greatest weaknesses, enough so that it had only taken her a single moment before she'd decided to venture through the shrubbery just to get a glimpse of that tantalizing voice. Her bare feet were cautious and silent as she crept closer towards the voice, pausing only behind the sanctuary of a solid tree trunk. Her pale grey gaze glanced around the tree, her eyes widening almost immediately at the sight in front of her. Serafina had certainly expected to come across something she shouldn't have but this was vastly different. Innately she knew she shouldn't be here. Her instincts screamed at her at the mere sight of the hunter before her. She knew she was in danger should she intervene and Serafina had never been particularly kind enough to put her own welfare before someone else. The girl hardly hesitated in twirling on the spot with the intent to run if it wasn't for a badly positioned twig that seemed to snap loudly beneath her usually quiet feet.
