South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

South

The forest used to be a comforting and peaceful place. Yet with Dark Hunters running around and leaving their deadly traps within the confines of the woods, the safe haven was not much of a paradise anymore. Always she had to be mindful of where she stepped. The last time she got caught in a Dark Hunter's trap she got bonded to a Witch. Though she did leave the scene with a tasty Italian boot to chew on. Tonight though she did not catch the new scent of any Dark Hunter nearby and many Weres were already running about amongst their own kind doing their own thing. Lying on the ground a few feet away from the ebony tiger she seemed quite content. The tiger had done nothing before to harm her and she seemed quite okay right now. After all Regan was not trying to eat her...and she would prefer it stay that way.

The she-wolf was feeling like she was slowly finding herself. The meek woman was used to being alone and she always assumed she fit the role as the typical 'lone wolf.' Yet she found herself actually enjoying being around others. There was that underling need to be connected to others. She was a creature that thrived on relationships and being connected with others. Being alone for so long, even in a pack system, left the girl with the dysfunctional gap in understanding others. Yet she was learning. It was Regan's response that made the lupine tilt her head towards the ground as her grey paws pawed the ground. Sighing softly a mournful tone could be heard in her voice, her eyes focused on her paws, as her mind began to playback that haunting night when she killed her pack.

"Yea...that's what I am still afraid of happening too."

She hardly wished to think about her past. She hadn't spoken to anyone about it. Everyone she met hardly seemed to care to even attempt to pry that sort of information out of her, and perhaps, it was for the best. The memories were far too painful and she had no desire to travel back down memory lane. The lupine would continue to be silent. Her grey tail swayed side to side in a nervous manner for a moment. Her entire form growing still as she simply watched her memory bank flood wide open. The vicious images of her past flashing. Her skull would lay promptly on the ground as she felt some of her scars flare back to life, her shoulder or leg twitching. Grey paws would quickly rise and cover her eyes for a moment. Trapped within her own mind. Not a sound came from the girl, but each flinch she made and each twitched looked almost as if she was being attacked by someone or something. A few minutes of this she would go still again and shudder. Lifting her paws up she would place her head over them, her eyes briefly looking back at the midnight stained tiger. Back at the dock and at the party she noticed how Regan was starting to become a recognizable face. She was in the same position as herself even though she knew the boys a little bit longer, if only slightly. Softly she spoke her voice a bit more timid.

"He is nice...Tetradore and his pack. They are...accepting."
