South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

My Own Form Of CHAOS

It is hard to find another person who can appreciate the sarcasm I have to offer. I say person cause while it's nearly impossible to find a guy I can talk to freely, sometimes it seems just as far a feat to find a girl who appreciates my form of humor. Sure I could just play a game of elimination and kill off anyone I don't like but I fear that would just leave me quite alone in the world so instead I watch them fight it out over petty things while I muster along in my own self loathing. Of course, that was before coming to Sacrosanct. Since coming here, I've found a new breed of supernatural and I'd like to think I've made a few friends along the way. Maybe they're not close that we call each other every day just to hear the other's voice and all that mushy stuff, but at least I know they won't throw a knife at my head the next time I pass by. Maybe I'll even get a smile of recognition. See? I'm not a hard guy to please. Davante is almost the perfect mix because he has just as much wit to throw around and he's not afraid to catch what he's pitching out. He doesn't get offended easily and sees everything as a challenge instead of a set back. Basically, he's my kind of guy and if he was a chick, hell, I'd probably be fucking him by now.

Playing darts in a bar comes pretty damn close though, at least the way we're going to play it. I can see the thoughts spinning behind those deep blue eyes when I mention speed. Again, him seeing it as a challenge. I can tell by the gleam in his eyes. It's just enough to keep me on my toes in case there's a surprise attack but not enough to make me not enjoy his company just as much as before. He may want to test that theory some day and when it comes, hey, I'll make him regret in my own fashion, but until that day, we can just relax in each other's company and throw sharp objects at other people. Sounds like a good time, doesn't it? He acts flabbergasted over my comment about sharp objects, even throwing in a quip about points at the end that has me laughing over my drink. It's been a long time since I've laughed over someone else's joke, genuinely anyway. He seems pleased when I advise that this game will be anything but dull, his eyes flashing with something akin to anticipation as I move toward the dart board and the unlucky patron who's about to make our night a little more interesting.

As I move back toward him to dally the darts into his palm, he asks about my power and I give him a sly grin.

"Tricks? I'm only testing your throwing skills at this point. I have to know what I'm up against if you ever decide to take silver stakes into your inventory, don't I?"

He laughs over his drink before focusing on the darts that are now in his hand. I lean up against the bar as the bartenders come to croon over my shoulder, reaching out to caress at my shoulder here or my arm there like they can't get enough. If I really wanted an easy lay, I could probably get them both in the back right now but I actually want to see what Davante's got in the dart department so I think I'll bide my time and hagn out for a bit. I smirk at his wry comment.

"I can always add in more obstacles if you're feeling lucky."

I eye the other patrons who are watching the whole spectacle mystified as if to prove my point. Just say the word and I could have them all jumping and dancing across the room, just to give him a little less of a clear shot. I watch with amusement as he starts aiming his shots before promptly sinking them all into the center of the dart board. I bring my hands up in a cheer, a large smile tugging at my lips as I dip my head to him.

"Good show, but I only see one ass in this bar tonight so I'll take a raincheck in favor of his better half."

I move toward the dart board, reaching out to slap the guy holding it upside the head as he comes to a stop in front of me, already looking into my eyes as I lock gazes with him.

"You disappoint me. Now this time, hold it over your nether regions so I have a better shot of keeping more cretins like you out of this world if I miss."

The man's face noticably withers at the thought of a dart hitting him in the nuts but either way, he does as directed, his hands shaking a little more this time as he starts dancing around the bar once more. I move back and lean against the bar, twirling the darts in my hand like they were harmless marbles as I smirk at Davante.

"Got any tricks up your sleeve, warlock? Come on, show me the good stuff. I want to genuinely kick your ass."
