South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

We Found Wonderland, You And I Got Lost In It

It is a rare thing indeed for the Leopard to seek solitude, especially from his pack and family and yet tonight he had failed to return to the Ark, long, even strides carrying him his spotted frame only further and further from his home though why cannot be truly said. His thoughts are not as others, his mind incapable of so much and yet it would seem tonight he is disturbed, uneasy, unable to settle and so he merely walks, miles upon miles he has travelled from the city tonight until every light had faded and every scent had grown faint until only earth remained and even the bonds of pack had grown weaker, Tetradore's hold upon him as faint and weak as the threads of a spiders web, the boy seemingly content to push against such boundaries, moving as entirely far as it would seem his mind was capable of allowing him before the desire to return to pack and Alpha became entirely to overwhelming and he merely pauses upon that snow hill so very far from the city. Why he has come so far remains to be seen, why he has continued to walk and walk cannot be said- he is simply driven to such things, mind agitated of late, distracted, filled with so many things he does not understand and yet it would seem for tonight he chooses to ignore them, chooses to do as so many simply cannot- chooses to be only animal and not man. His mind so easily accepts this transition the young man content merely to exists within endless fields of frosted snow rich with the scent of prey and free of the scent of all others that so distract his mind and afflict his frame with tangled and useless emotion after emotion he cannot understand. He grows only frustrated with himself each day, loathes his inability to understand why his companions act as they do and no longer cares to attempt to try, mind having recoiled entirely from his humanity- or what remains of it. Driving the boy miles and miles from home.

Yet- the bonds of pack are powerful indeed, that link from Alpha to Second a binding thing, one hardly broken so easily- nor does he have any desire to flee so far as to cause that fragile thread to snap, his dedication to his Leader entirely to great, just as his ever growing need to protect Nadya and his need to return each night to Birdie whom he has come to expect within his bed. It is late when he finally turns to head for home, paws broken into a lope that sees that pelt of gold and black whisper silently along beneath the moonlight, the cat silent upon the snow, leaving only heavy paw-prints within his wake as breath rises like smoke within the air and the male begins his long journey back from the reprieve his mind has sought in perhaps the first...healthy expression of his anger he had ever been given to demonstrate, moving away from that which irritates him, which stresses him- rather then throwing the tantrums for which he is famed. He still does not fathom Nadya's pregnancy, not entirely, cannot understand how he is the cause of it or where this supposed cub will come from and yet his mind has...accepted this, instinct perhaps given to play a role within such things, the man driven so entirely by that animal side of himself that his desire to protect the woman has perhaps eased this acceptance of that which he does not fully comprehend.

For a creature so volatile, a man so capable of violence he is perhaps the least...judgemental of all those whom surround him, simply accepting that which is even when his mind recoiled from it, this same acceptance having come to willingly expect Birdie within his room each night, having become used to sharing his space and personal territory with her, sharing his meals and bed and time, merely having become used to her presence, comfortable and content with her continued place beside him and it is this familiarity perhaps that merely sees him deviate towards her now as he steps back within the forests that mark the city outskirts, the scent of horse...stronger here and yet ignored for now as he paces past it and towards the frigid clearing- pausing upon the outskirts. The prancing, rolling wolf sees those eyes of amber gold draw wide in surprise, head tilted slightly in curiosity as the wolf dances about within the snow and his own form starts forward once more, treading silently now, growing lower and lower still with each stride- stalking the wolfess now.

His tail flicks and twitches, the boy crouching down now behind a snow drift, hidden from sight as the wolf rests now, head turned upward to face the falling snow, oblivious to his sneaking as he comes from behind, launching suddenly to pounce atop her in a flurry of snow, proceeding to sit unceremoniously atop her now, holding her down within the snow with a satisfied purr.

Why is Birdie...watching snow? If you....look at it....to long.....it will fall in...your eyes and they...will freeze off

It is only logical.
