South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

For such a tortured girl she was still capable of wearing her heart on her sleeve. Even though she was abused and mistreated by her own blood she could not bring herself to end her cousins' life. Family was family, pack was pack, and these were things that were held so revered by wolves. Yes, she was allowed to loathe her family, but she could never bring herself to willingly end their life. Even though her blonde cousin had threatened her and Isolt time and time again she still simply could not bring herself to do it. Unlike her family she had some unheard voice telling her to steady her paw and teeth and not bring harm to him. If she would have killed him she was sure that his pack would stop at nothing and chase her and the fledging vampire down. This was something she could not allow to happen and so she made a deadly promise hoping it would be enough to make him and the others stay away. Concerned with what Isolt's action or words would bring she turned her head away. She was uninterested in hearing what she should have done or what she did wrong. This was a wolf matter and she had solved it as best as she possibly could.

It was when the last outlined figure of her cousin disappearing through the shadows did she allow herself to look at the redhead. Those stony eyes hardly shifting to her face, afraid to see disappointment in them in regards to her decision, deciding it was best to stare at her feet. Slowly the lupine descended to the ground, settling herself on her uninjured side, attempting to take longer calming breaths. Each inhale and exhale was painful as the dagger remained lodged between her ribs. The soft touch of Isolt's cold hand allowed the girl to whimper softly, her form tense as that tender hand crept closer and closer to her wounded side. Any wounded creature, be they wild or tamed, would not have allowed another close to them even if they were trusted or not. A soft warning growl was uttered when she felt the girls fingers wrap around the handle of the offending blade.

"I-I don't heal well...so unless you know what you are doing go on ahead."

For some reason unbeknownst to her she could not heal as well as her counterparts. There was a reason why her mangled form looked as it did. It would take far more amount of time for her wound to heal. For a moment her head would life upwards and move to her side, black lips pulled back to reveal those sharp teeth ready to inflict harm on Isolt. However, as the vampire whispered softly in reassurance only then did she lie her head back to the ground. Eyes closed as she held her breath and only exhaled as she felt the sharp pain of the blade leaving her side. She tried to stay still, but she jerked slightly in a bodily response to the opposing object freed from her body. A sharp cry emitted from her muzzle as her eyes closed once more, clenching her teeth resisting the need to bite Isolt for her kindly transgressions. She could feel her body tensing up once more as she felt the wound continue to sting and not heal. It would seem that indeed the Were was unable to heal so very quickly as her kind and so they would have to play the waiting game.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
