South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

at the end of the game, the king and the pawn return to the same box

When the not-too-familiar voice spoke up, it wasn't the sounds that actually identified the speaker but his words, the cock-sure tone masked by a thin layer of humor. Spencer had always been told humor was something he lacked, something he really ought to pick up, but he personally thought it was about as useful as a venereal disease, then moments like this occur and he finds himself wishing he had an ounce of a sharp wit to use. So, he would be left to roll his eyes behind closed eyelids and dust his hands off. "Charmed as always, Dorian." Spencer drawled, looking up at Dav from his spot on the ground and studying him.

They claimed eyes were the window to the soul and, while Spencer was doubtful about souls, he certainly did agree on one thing: they were windows and Dorian's were no different. He could pick out the curiosity, the slight hint of confusion â€" why was Spencer here? He never just showed up out of the blue, not without phone calls and scheduling weeks ahead of time. For him to be here- why was he here? Where was his car? Why was he sitting under a tree when the closest thing to outdoors Dorian had ever seen him was Spencer lighting a Christmas tree on fire in a rare burst of temper at an obnoxious mother of six. Really people, fucking birth control was cheap and at most convenience store. Don't fucking take his reserved parking spot he had to pay stupid amounts of money for just so you don't have to walk fifty feet then hit his car with your purse when he's demanding you move. It's not like he was asking for that much. He would be lying though if he said he wasn't satisfied when she came out of the apartment complex to a smoldering car. Oh wait, he completely went off topic there.

Spencer reached up, taking the offered assistance though he usually would have declined, the gentleman far too proud to let anyone know of his slight... inconvenience. It took a moment after he was on his feet to really get a solid footing, Spencer leaning against the tree's trunk to support most of his weight. It seemed most of the day's events were catching up, his body groaning under the movements and weight. A slight frown tugged at the corner of Spencer's mouth as Dorian spoke again, noting silently the twat still couldn't get his damned name right. He mulled over how to explain why he was here â€" somehow it just didn't seem that appealing to say he was run out of town â€" while debating on the cigarette. Usually he wasn't a smoker, he didn't like the way it burned his throat or the ache in his lungs that lingered the next day, but tonight he found himself taking up the offer. That and he usually did smoke when doing business with Dorian.

"Business, of course." Spencer grunted around the end of the cigarette as he flicked the lighter, hesitating to light the cigarette before passing the lighter back to Dorian. "I'm... looking to invest in new opportunities. Things back home have..." He trailed off, trying to find the proper words before he shrugged, "Fuck it, you'll figure out the truth: I was run out of the city by the Dark Hunters. In fact, anyone with half a brain and an ounce of magic fled the city. The Hunters had an upset in the council when half of them were killed in a hunt due to some half-assed bomb crafted in a damn garage using stolen ingredients from a careless witch. They filled those slots with some blood-hungry idiots, ones I had previously done business with, so they decided to start their witch-hunt with an obvious choice: me. So I'm currently taking a sabbatical."

Spencer finished talking, letting the night's silence hang over as he waited for Dorian to speak, if he was going to say anything at all. He pulled on the cigarette, holding the smoke in his lungs for a long minute then exhaling through the side of his mouth, the smoke away from his companion. Then, on another thought, "It's Lombardo, by the way."
