South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

I haven't seen Raven since that night in the forest and I've been trying to get out more. I'm more than a little nervous about the job offer Alexander gave me and I've been dying to talk to someone about it but I know she's caught up with her job and the pack and Tobias now so I've been trying to give her some space. I've been staying away from the house like she told me to but I didn't take her up on the offer to come to Tetradore's pack so I've been finding places to sleep in the forest. There was an old den that some badgers or something left years ago so I dug it out a little more and I've been sleeping there most nights. Other nights, I curl up beneath the stars. It reminds me of home a little bit, but not the bad parts exactly. There were nights that I ran away from my father and slept in the woods out of sight and out of his reach. Those nights I was free.

I find myself walking through the pack when a loud voice begging for someone to give her a hotdog calls my attention. Glancing over, I scowl as I see the man throwing away a perfectly good hotdog while a woman stands nearby, practically pleading with him to give it to her instead. What a jerk. The man tosses it without even looking in her direction and keeps walking. Meanwhile the hotdog stand vendor seems to be getting more irritated by the second. I'm reminded of the day Tobias tackled the ice cream vendor and we took his ice cream. That day I learned how cold it is and how fast it will melt in the sun but I also learned of its sweetness. Tobias was most disconcerted by the melting part. He threw quite the tantrum. The memory alone makes me smile a little before I focus back on the girl, not snatching some hot dog buns and running off as the man tries to go after her.

At first I think about chasing her but then what? Try to explain that I know what it's like to be hungry and offer to be friends instead? She might just think I'm after the buns too and try to hide from me, or maybe she'll even attack. That's no good. I scowl, caught up in my predicament until a familiar perfume hits my nostrils. My heads snaps around, blue eyes catching sight of none other than Raven gathering some hot dogs from the cart. I tilt my head, brows knitting in curiosity as she then marches away and in the direction the girl and the vendor went. i don't have to worry long about the vendor catching the girl cause as I follow in Raven's wake, I see him bent over, breathing hard and out of breath. I feel a satisfied feeling in my gut as I walk past him too, trailing Raven still as she makes her way toward a bench. Then I see the girl sitting there with her buns.

Raven extends the buns with a friendly smile, telling her she can't have a hot dog without the hot dog. I smile softly, feeling my chest tighten with her kindness, just as it did the day she ran from the hunter with me and protected me, the day she offered me sanctuary and a friendship I'll never forget. I slowly walk toward them until I stop beside Raven.

"If you're still hungry after that, there's a nice diner just down the street. They sell amazing chicken tenders."
