South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

South
we walk beneath the sun, we lie beneath the stars

Everyone had to bother her when she was sleeping.

....Why?

Minn didn't ask for a lot of things. Except... you know. Food. And a comfortable place to sleep. That wasn't much, though, on the grand scale of things! But no. Instead she found herself tossing and turning uncomfortably in her bed with a nagging, pulling sensation in the back of her mind that refused to let her rest. For some ungodly reason it was like the voice was beckoning her somewhere, prodding against everything in her mind to rise from the warm bed and go out and do things. No, not things. Just one thing. Somewhere. With someone.

Fuck.

After a good half-hour of trying to resist that odd mental tug that had never once hindered her before, Minn finally sat up in bed with a groan that might have been considered a frustrated roar. "FINE! Fine!" She flung the blankets off with an exasperated, dramatic flare and began to stomp around the room as she got ready. Tetradore, she thought with a loathing dread as she dressed. I'm going to kiiiill you.

Eventually the bear lumbered slowly towards the edge of the forest, large and bulky in her grizzly form. Huffs and puffs of hot air passed through her large wet nose as she went, ungrateful for the chance of this little evening stroll Tetradore had set them out for. She was vaguely aware of the growing sounds in the distance - like distant bickering except instead of humans, various animal sounds echoed throughout the trees. Minn took the hint and followed in that direction, doubts of this particular event seeping into the back of her mind.

When she came across Tetradore and his miraculous pack of high-quality, pedigree mutts, Minn's nose wrinkled as she stared. It really didn't take long to size up the scene before her, with a feral looking tiger and just as ruffled mum-cat with two furry cupcakes at her feet. Ugh. Her small ears flattened and she turned to look up at Tetradore pointedly, the look flat and with an overwhelming sense of 'I told you so' even in bear form. 'You're stupid and I hate you', was very much what she wanted to say - but didn't. It was the childish resent she felt towards him currently for pulling her out of bed and dragging her into the woods, but somewhere in her head Minn supposed that there was a mildly more serious matter on their hands and she could bother him about the rules of having a bear in your home later.

With a grunt Minn walked forward into the group, her path just happening to take her by the snarling tiger. The moment one of the loud, obnoxious sounds hit her fully in one of her fuzzy ears Minn stopped and stared ahead, clearly perturbed by the action of the other. With a small bristling of the fur on her shoulders Minn's head swung around to stare at the orange and black feline, mouth parting with an equally grr-esque sounding grunt/snort/roar.

Damn they were rude. What was the problem again? Oh, right. The cupcakes.

Disturbed by the fact that everyone in the group seemed to have their tail in knots Minn slowly turned towards the source of it all. She eyed mum-cat for a moment, recognizing the feminine panther from that one day they'd run across each other in the woods. Hmmmmm. Huh. Okay...

The next thing she did could have bee considered dangerous and stupid but Minn didn't seem to care. She was the calmest one there out of the entire lot of them and perhaps the only one who didn't seem entirely uncomfortable with the present company. The large bear slowly moved forward, reaching down to pluck one of the cupcakes up in her mouth without much warning and taking it a few paces away before plopping down onto her stomach. Using her large, stout arms as a circle in front of her she placed the cub in its new bear-enclosure before turning to look for the other one, who seemed close enough to reach for with a massive paw and scoop back in her direction, herding it like a potato into the same new pen as its sibling.

There.

Minn stared down at them for a moment before covering them with the thick of her neck scruff as she rested her muzzle on her paws, staring openly at the others. Now they could duke out whatever had to be duked out - and the unspoken threat of anyone's attempt to get past her to the cubs hung heavily in the air.
