South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

He had managed to ignore the need of his animalistic form for several weeks now, his mind preoccupied with other things, his control over his more beastly side exercised extensively these past few days in a further effort to preoccupy his mind. It was merely unfortunate that unlike his vixen companion his own form could not be summoned in merely any space- his desire to maintain the structure of his home enough to dissuade the man from any change at will- even his backyard, large as it was, lacked any sort of true privacy from the neighbours either side and he held little desire to be further questioned by foolish, vapid humans as to why he kept such an animal within his backyard. This evening however, he had found himself free of any further pressing issues. Claire was suitably distracted with her baking, Calliel was still attempting recovery- though his mind refuses to think on such events now, much as he chooses to ignore Nadya- Alexander was his more pressing concern and yet even thoughts of his reluctant companion were pressed from his mind tonight. Claire would be several hours still with dinner and as such the man is content to leave her in peace in his determination to seek his own few moments of solitude. Even if his animal form had lately failed to cease the humming of voices within his head.

His clothing is striped easily enough from his lithe, toned form, folded easily and left beneath the tree he had taken to using as a marker of late, this area of the forest his most frequented and as such the man had taken a certain claim to it perhaps. It takes barely a moment to shed his human guise, that shock of snowy white hair replaced with a mane of much the same hue, a long and sweeping thing that fell softly against the powerful arch of his neck. The heavy, feathered hooves of the stallion thumping rhythmically atop the earth. His animal form significantly larger then his human figure and yet one he had become used to. The world itself is significantly more alive within such a form, scent and sight and hearing vastly improved, thickened tail lashing at his flanks in a haphazard effort to flick stray insects from his pale sides as his form presses forward into a loping trot of sorts- relishing that extension and the feel of each broad, heavy muscle rolling free. For a moment he allows his neck to extend, stretching each muscle within his back, a heavy sigh pulling from his nostrils before an inhalation of air sees the cremello-hued stallion halt.

Nostrils flare once more, tasting the air around him, ears pricked forward to capture the subtle sounds of others within the patch of forest he has claimed for his own, ears lacing briefly back into the thickness of his mane before the heavy animal proceeds to shift direction. He has never been a truly...forgiving creature and yet the scents upon the breeze tonight incite curiosity more then aggravation as the Alpha moves to stride into the clearing and towards the crouching man that held a distinctly unique odour about himself, the white gold stallion quite the sight to behold- towering above both other Were's as he pauses directly behind Kato now- the barest hint of a quirk tugging at his lip.

He offers the barest hint of inspection of the dark-skinned man before striding abruptly past him, leaving him to fiddle about with the dirt as heavy hooves carrying the towering animal towards the vixen now- what little of his strangely violet gaze can be seen beneath that thickened forelock fixated upon the woman as he halts before her- forced to lower his head in an effort to better perceive her, hardly caring as the many in which he invades her space as he had done the man. This was his territory, his space (or so he likes to believe) and his own dominance is surely clear, unspoken though it is. A rough snort is all the woman is afforded, a blast of heated air upon her skin from the giant animal as he shifts slightly to the side now, assuring both intruding Were's remain within his vision.

You know, I'm beginning to consider putting up a fence, every second Were in the city seems to feel invited to stroll around my part of the forest- but no matter. I assume you two have very good reasons to be here so please- entertain me.

His voice maintains that same smooth, cool edge, a deep, baritone sound that is passed directly into the minds of both present, the stallion evidently capable of a more...potent power, one he has already begun to master, capable of maintaining his human speech even within his animal guise through the manner in which is slides into the minds of those present whether they desire it or not. It was rare to find two new Were's within the city, let alone one whom seemed to share his....herbivore status amongst a city of carnivores. How very intriguing. The other, the fox, offered much the same intrigue after all- he rather enjoyed collecting foxes. Such useful little creatures they were- though whether these two held any use or not remained to be seen.
