South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

there are as many truths as stars in the sky, and everyone of them different
perhaps that is the only real truth

While many people would prefer the isolation that such a day brings, not to mention the way that humans were condition to ignore each other, Sorcha is a sociable creature. It was a thing that she had capitalized on as she grew older and decided that potions were her forte. Many of them were made holistically using herbs that she bought and found from all over just like old healers would use. Many of them had been called hedge witches before since people back in those times didn't actually believe some things could heal or promote healing. That wasn't to say that all of her potions were made without magic. Some required rituals and some needed to be made a special times of the year or the day along with their own chants. It was a difficult thing to accomplish for some potions but she enjoyed a challenge. Which is why it wasn't such a hard thing to do to sit next to a stranger on the beach. Most humans didn't like the rain and so she suspected that his emotions were distraught and she was a healer after all - not just of the body but of the mind.

Still he doesn't tell her to get lost - she has heard that line once or twice - but instead looks up at her and gives her a smile that is friendly but also wary. No one liked for others to see their problems. It was as if by revealing them the world would offer little sympathy and leave behind hurt pride. She didn't care. Such things were frivolous and only stunted growth in life. She grins at him, glancing down at her soaked legs and shrugging dismissively. "Well, seems you are right there. Should've worn shorts, would be more comfortable." And easier to get off since the jeans would stick like glue.

A melodious laugh escapes from her as she leans back, eyes squinting in her laughter as water sluices down her face and drips into her mouth, her tongue darting out to catch the fresh drops eagerly. "That is a risk you have to take, but you seem a pretty brawny fella and although this poncho hides much, it doesn't house that much muscle." He is cute and entertaining and she feels no need to rise and leave him be. His touch is gentle, more so than she has ever found and she beams at him, trying to relax him. His hand dwarfs her own yet she feels no sense of alarm. For a time she lets him sit in silence, only the sounds of the world around them companions, drowning out everything else. Then she leans back, tipping her head up. "Might I ask why you are sitting out by the ocean on a rainy day looking so morose? I bet someone like you could find plenty of company at a bar, even wet as you are," she says with a chuckle, flirtatious but also wholly serious.
