South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

His progress through the night was slow, Ian was in no rush to be anywhere this evening. Each step was taken with care, carefully placing each paw to avoid any unbidden sounds his movements might cause. His situation with Avi had become worrisome, they hadn't spoken for days, maybe even weeks now, ever since the argument at the coffee shop, the budding friendship seemed to have wilted and died in an instant and each night he returned home, Ian expected to find all of her stuff gone and the house empty once more.

Tonight, he attempted to push those thoughts from his mind, it wouldn't do him any good to constantly fret over something out of his power, he would just have to consider finally getting his own job, he'd have to stop relying on his parents and finally strike out on his own properly. His large ears flickered, taking in all the sounds of the night around him, picking out the subtle rustle of undergrowth, likely caused by some small rodent, a good enough meal to suit him for now, but it would only be the beginning.

After his last visit to the outskirts, Ian had retained the memory of coming under attack, which meant he had learn to tread carefully at this point, constantly seeking out the sounds of prey and predators. It was due to this wariness that he heard Raven's approach, his automatic reactions was to skulk swiftly into the thick undergrowth, to attempt to avoid any contact at all. He had only just reached the safety of the thick foliage when her voice rang out within his head. One delicate spotted paw remained poised in midair as his angular head swung to fix his gaze on her.

"What's down there?" He recognized the female from the last time he had visited the outskirts, she had seemed imposing but she hadn't threatened him in any way, though the fur still rippled across his back, rising ever so slightly to make his diminutive size seem less obvious. Remaining motionless he watched the arc of the stick, almost leaping out of his skin when the trap before him snapped on contact, his powerfully muscled hindquarters launching him to the side and away from the trap. Eyes wide and jaw parted in shock, his heart pounded against his birdlike ribcage. "Thank you.."

Ian took his time, swinging his attention to the wolf and back to the trap in disbelief, shocked that he had come so close to being crippled and caught â€" this was an entirely new revelation to him, his usual stomping grounds in his neighborhood had no traps, nor had he ever come across them when he roamed back with his family. Though he wasn't particularly new to the city, there was still plenty he needed to learn. Tentatively, he edged towards the wolf, his tail flickering from side to side, "How did you know?"
