South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Hearing the choral of wolves sing in the distance seemed beautifully haunting as she stared up at the crimson moon. For the first time in a long time she felt at peace, comforted by the stillness she felt within her battered soul. It had been an extremely long time since she had felt this rare sensation of tranquility. Tonight was proving to be extremely worthwhile and she was glad she took a momentarily leave of the Ark. It was difficult for her to remain still as she sat and craned her head slightly upwards to watch the stars attempt to outshine the dark red orb in the sky. For now her mental distress was forgotten. All that anguish, grief, and pain seemed to be evaporated momentarily. Her mind was completely silent. No longer did she think about how the past few days could have been better, no longer did she think about how to make her tomorrows fantastic, she did not think about Tobias and his pressure to get her back to her old self or in the ring with him, and she did not think about the pack. She was at peace and she was grateful for it.

It was the obnoxious crunching sound that caught her attention and destroyed her serene setting. Taking a deep breath her eyes closed as she remained still for a moment hoping to catch that last tendrils of the peace she had enjoyed. Whoever had approached her they did not hold the familiar strong bond she would have felt if they were a member of her pack. Puzzled as to who would come this far within the woods she turned her dial around and saw the scrappy smaller canine. It is true, wolves and coyotes never got a long, and there was far too much bad blood between them. She had nothing against coyotes and so she did not react to her presence with such a violent reaction. Blue-grey eyes noticed how the other began to lift her tail in a dominant manner, her fur standing on end, and yet she was not threatened. Perhaps the coyote came this way to get a better glimpse of the moon. She was a canine, and perhaps, she too felt the unwavering becoming of the moon. Instead of reacting to the challenge she would tilt her dial downwards and jerk it slightly forward, inviting the coyote to come near her. Softly her voice would break through the mind barriers of the Were inviting Malia to come.

"You can stay if you'd like, I don't mind."
