South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I guess if I knew what I actually was, I would better understand the differences in how my pack runs and how other packs run compared to it. I don't know the drama of being part human, part animal because I don't even know about the other half. I've been in my coyote form for so long that I don't know how to turn back and I don't remember a time when I wasn't a coyote if you don't count the dreams. But those are just dreams right? Nothing more.

As the bear charges toward me after my attacks, I look past her to see a blur of black coming toward us and I find myself wondering in this moment if he's coming for the bear or for me. When he stops between us, I glance between him and the bear, his shoulder pressing into mine an odd feeling, something between unfamiliar and yet not altogether unpleasant. It catches me off guard and I resist with a growl though I don't move to attack, moving back as he wishes if only to make his shoulder not touch me anymore. The bear seems baffled by the bluff, standing up on her hind legs again to roar in protest and I know now is the time to move and so that's exactly what I do.

I spin on my haunches and take off, knowing the panther must be right with me. I zig zag through the trees and don't stop running until I don't hear or smell the bear anywhere in the vicinity anymore. She probably didn't even chase us, figuring we weren't worth the fight. The words he offers are answered back with a huff as I stop to catch my breath and cringe as I can finally be overwhelmed by the throbbing of my side where she head butted me. I turn my gaze to the panther, blue eyes intense as I try to read him. "Why....why save me?" I finally find the concentration to make some sense of words to him, though it feels so unfamiliar as compared to talking to the pack.
