South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Sterling knew that his companion was altogether ignorant of the peculiarities the metropolis held. He knew that the man knew nothing of the otherworldly natures that rested somewhere deeply within the strangers walking even just down the sidewalks. He had tried to forewarn him, he had tried to ensure that the man was properly prepared for the world at large before he left the safety of his flat and yet, clearly attempting to word it was an entirely different manner then actually showing him what Sterling had found himself inexplicably capable of. He had surely expected some sort of reaction - awe, disbelief, fear even. But the sheer magnitude of his startled actions had caught even Sterling off guard. It was the sight of blood that prompted Sterling to move from the balcony, disappearing into the kitchen to fetch a wet rag. He watched as the man held the rag to his wound, ceasing the flow of blood. A small frown crossed Sterling's lips at the soft hiss of air that left Henry's mouth, indicating that the wound was perhaps as painful as it looked. He couldn't help the growing sense of guilt - he hadn't meant to cause Henry so much surprise that he ended up with such a large gash. Unfortunately for him, Sterling seemed to have some growing capabilities of mucking up every aspect of their evening.

Henry watched as his companion stepped into the light of the kitchen, surprisingly willing to accept Sterling's continued presence despite the start that he had caused Henry. Sterling slowly reached up, his fingers gingerly brushing of the blonde locks around the wound if. He was careful to ensure he didn't touch the gash, instead only parting Henry's hair to get a better look at the laceration. His lips pressed together ever so slightly as he eyed the lesion. It looked painful to be sure but hardly severe enough that it warranted a trip to the emergency room - at least so Sterling thought in his rather limited observations about wounds. Henry's quip caused the boy's bright blue gaze to shift from the back of Henry's head to his profile, inquisitively watching him for the moment before his head dipped ever so slightly in a nod. "Yeah, I think you'll be fine...just be careful okay? Keep pressure on it until it stops bleeding." He instructed, stepping back from the man, a glance of concern still nestled on his features.

"Do you feel okay?" Sterling questioned, his eyebrows knitted together ever so slightly. The wound being okay was entirely different than how his companion felt and though Henry made an effort to make light of the situation, somehow Sterling found it difficult to simply brush off the blood and what had occurred.
