South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Life as a chef was certainly not as glamorous as it was perhaps made to be. Even as a measly line chef the hours were particularly long, the kitchen was uncomfortably hot, the days bordered on chaotic and, after all was said and done, his feet were killing him. Nevertheless, he had entered his career fully with the expectation of what the hours and work would be like - how he had known was a mystery to him. Perhaps, in another life, Sterling had been in this exact same position? Perhaps he had merely done some research into it? Regardless, Sterling had found a way to enjoy the laborious career he'd found himself in, even vying for the position of the Sous Chef over the mere line cook that he had been hired as. Ascending in the kitchen hierarchy was hardly an easy task. The Sous Chef was expected to cover many roles and line cooks were kept so strictly within line that there was rarely a chance to show he could excel. Still, Sterling didn't give up heart, willingly giving up his day off to take over the shift of one of his coworkers that failed to make his luncheon shift.

His shift ended far earlier than usual, releasing him for the first night he'd had off in nearly a week. Usually, by the time Sterling returned to the apartment he caught Henry just before the man retired for the night, their conflicting schedules often left the pair little time to linger within each other's presence long. Nevertheless, he'd made every effort to ensure he was still aware of the man's progress in his search to discover who he was, just as he too made an effort to be supportive of his companion's new found career and likewise success. He was hardly surprised at the silence the apartment greet him with, hardly expecting for Henry to be home for another hour or two. He'd considered making them both dinner but first a shower was in order - after all he still smelled of the kitchen and felt far sweaty to be in any fashion comfortable.

A small yawn escaped his lips as he paused within the bedroom. He reached up, peeling off that white chef's coat. The coolness of the air felt particularly nice against his skin and for a moment Sterling lingered within his closet, picking out a fresh set of clothes. He made his way towards the bathroom, toying with the button of his jeans in the process. Sterling opened the door to the bathroom, hardly paying attention to the contents inside if only out of habit of, well, living alone. After all, it had only been a few weeks since Henry had decided to stay. He haphazardly tossed his clothes on the countertop, turning towards the tub only to find it occupied. For a moment, Sterling simply stood there blankly, fully surprised to find Henry in his bathtub - that was, until his lips started moving and he found the ability to speak a single syllable, "Oh."
