South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

they argued my right to ascension

He never had been entirely comfortable with questions, in any fashion, those of a more direct nature as the ones the vampire beside him seemed determine to pursue in this moment making the blonde Hunter even more uncomfortable- if only for his utter inability no to answer them, words already rising unbidden to his lips though he bites them back for now. Perhaps he was...inclined to tell the truth, though whether by his own devoid moral compass or merely what shred of humanity he still retained he hardly knew- yet he was hardly forced to tell the truth by only one standard. Truth, after all, often held far more than one shade, Azrael meeting the vampires gaze momentarily.

"Yes, you were."

The vampire, in fact, had been the only one content to actually bid. All other attempts on this ridiculous amulet seemed to be by far more nefarious means and truly Azrael is half given to believe Xerxes had given him guardianship of it with the sole knowledge that he would be plagued by a wealth of supernatural deviants attempting to get their hands on it. Later, he thinks, he will be content to have a conversation with the Hunter. For now his interests remain more singular. The vampire moves to stretch one arm languidly along the back of the chair, Azrael eyeing it with a marked distaste he remains incapable of hiding, form stiffening readily in response to even this vague movement before he suggests attempting to move this meeting to somewhere a little less crowded- a suggestion the vampire hardly seems inclined to take up. Hmm. Perhaps he had underestimated this one- if only slightly, the leech not nearly as unintelligent as most of his species seemed to be. Perhaps he was old, or older in the least, the centuries offering him some level of sense the younger vampires never did seem to latch onto before they met their ultimate destruction. Unfortunate that. This meeting however, has decidedly come to an end, Azrael unwilling to entertain this charade any further. The vast majority of beings in this area were human, most willing enough to support the death of a vampire or in the least intelligent enough not to involve themselves, the few lingering supernatural's he could sense on the very periphery of his powers hopefully equally as inclined to stay out of the hopefully short-lived battle about to ensue.

"Yes- lets get this over with."

The vampire reaches into his jacket in the same moment Azrael reaches smoothly into his own, grasping the stake beneath before plunging it backhanded in the same, smooth, single motion sideways and towards the chest of the man beside him, aiming entirely to impale him to the chair- a rush of utterly unnatural speed assuring the action is little more than a blink- a blur in time. Aiming to end him here and now with a single, defining stroke. Such an action however, requires the Hunter to drop that thin, fine field of light that had so blocked his aura before, revealing his Hunter status readily now to any with the sense to be aware of it. Another rush of speed sees the Hunter lift from the bench, pivoting in place to face the vampire now. He has survived long enough to anticipate that, slim though the chances were, if he had missed the creature's heart and the creature was strong enough- it was entirely likely it would retaliate- Azrael more than prepared for such a thing. A second stake poised and ready within his left hand, the amulet the vampire sought hanging visibly around the Hunters own neck now like a painful tease out of reach and yet truly of the amulet Azrael hardly cares any longer. It held no value to him, it had merely brought him one more victim to add to his ever growing list.

"You vampires have to make everything so fucking difficult."

The scream of a nearby resident had surely already alerted half of the neighbourhood and yet for now the golden eyes of the Hunter remain fixated upon his target with every intention of sending it back from whatever part of hell it had come from.
