South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Edie could certainly tell that there was a flicker of amusement in the man's demeanor regarding the young fox. That smirk that seemed to have resounded itself to his features irked the girl, and if it weren't for the stinging pain in her shoulder, she was sure that she would have had a retort to knock the look right off his features. Instead, she merely focused on the steady flow of blood that seemed content to seep right on out of the gaping wound on her shoulder. "No, but I doubt you'd fare well against pure silver, either. It's not exactly like those Hunters wanted to give you a hug, you know." Edie's words were perhaps spoken out of spite, the young girl hardly enjoying being teased while she was wounded. She had hardly been prepared for the boy to hold up a packet of green paste in front of her. However, it was an equal joy that her actions seemed to surprise the man, even if it did cause her to crumple in pain.

"Shut up," Edie said through gritted teeth, having no desire to banter with the man in her state. She closed her eyes in an attempt to steady her breathing â€" surely the wound should have started to close up by now. "You pride yourself too much. You're hardly worth a glance in your direction." She may have found the boy appealing, but it was his infuriating smirk that caused the girl to look rather quickly away from him, a blush working its way onto her cheeks â€" damn herself. "Still, no use in letting you die at their hands. What good would that do?" She found herself wincing against her better judgment as the shirt was peeled from her wound. A sharp hiss escaped her as his touch spread the paste against her wound. Immediately, it was as though the burning ceased, and Edie let out a breath that she didn't know she'd been holding. "Thank you," She said quietly, her eyes flicking down to his fingers as she watched him finish spreading the paste on her skin. It was the most amount of gratitude she would offer him, and even that was more than she felt compelled to give.

"Kato," She repeated his name back to him as though she were testing the syllables on her tongue. It almost caused a smile to creep up onto her features, one that was immediately extinguished by the rather unfortunate nickname that the boy had seemed content to give her. "I told you not to fucking call me that." She leaned forward, grabbing the duffle bag she'd been digging through only moments before. She dug through it, pulling out a pair of men's pajama pants and tossing them at him. The girl wasted no time in picking up her own discarded clothes from the pile where she'd shifted, tugging her underwear and bra on first, then the dress on top of it. "Edie," She said finally, once she was dressed and her fingers had combed through the worst of the knots in her hair. "I'm Edie." She looked over at him, finally getting a good look at the man who had apparently deemed it necessary to drag her into all of this mess.

"Now," Edie said firmly, staring at the boy in front of her. "Why don't you explain what the hell you were attempting to do out there? Because to my eyes, it certainly didn't look like you had a chance of not getting shot, you bloody moron." She was most certainly prompting him, daring him to sass her again now that her skin was beginning to stitch up as it should.
