South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Like any hopeless caged creature she remained pinned up against the corner of the wall. She did not move an inch, preferring to stay curled up as she was on the ground. Sadden eyes remained focused on the door that closed away all hopes of escaping here alive. She desperately wanted to go back to the Ark where she could be safe and sound. Her pack was her family and the West district was her home. It was natural for her to feel so detached from her pack when she was far away from them. It was an unsettling feeling that tugged at her heart, her soul wishing to return to where she belonged. Yet she knew that she would never see them again after tonight was over and done with. The Dark Hunter spoke of torture and she knew that she would not last for long. She was unable to heal fast enough when she was wounded. It was a flaw that she did her best to hide from everyone. If word got out that she was unable to heal properly she would be a walking easy target. The weres that came to the Ark did not know she was incapable of healing, even when she fought alongside Tobias, the wolf purposefully making sure that if she received any injury it was hidden or she at least pretended it was healing by trying not to limp when she slipped away. All the Weres there were aware when she was first attacked by Frost, her injuries accepted by the public as a terrible thing and a recognition to Frost's prowess. Oh how she longed to believe this was nothing more than a terrible dream, a dream when she could wake up, and find herself curled up against her beloved companion.

When she heard Frost seethe and admit his pleasure that she was in here with him, she couldn't help but lift her head for a moment and narrow her eyes. Briefly her eyes would roll at the mention of Frost having value of another, a statement she believed to be a blatant lie. There was absolutely no way Frost was capable of believing someone else, other than him, had value. When he threatened to harm her she looked back at him, her eyes narrowing, realizing that she was incapable of retaliating. The Dark Hunter had warned them the consequences they would suffer should they use their power. Raven was conditioned to believe what her captor said, the girl familiar with being threatened by others when she was trapped within a cage. It dawned on her that Frost seemed foolish enough to try it, but she couldn't help but wonder....what if the Dark Hunter was wrong. It could not be said why she uttered the next two words. Perhaps it was out of fear that he would finally be successful in ending her life, Raven terrified to die, especially when she wasn't able to say farewell to Isolt and thank her for being a friend, to say goodbye to Sam and encourage the girl to continue her relationship with her Alpha, or extent her gratitude to Tetradore for accepting her into his pack, or to and Serafina and offer the witch an apology for not being a better familiar. She didn't even get a chance to tell Tobias how much she loved him and offer him a final goodbye. Maybe she spoke aloud in concern that Frost would truly harm himself and in turn cause her to be all alone with the Dark Hunter. Her hands would move upwards as to defend herself, hiding her head behind her arms as her eyes closed, shouting her perplexing two words.

"Frost don't..."

When she didn't feel the chilling grip of cold or the agonizing heat of fire she reopened her eyes and lowered her arms discovering Frost experiencing his own attack harming himself. Well, it served him right and she didn't even bother to give him another glance when he voiced aloud his shock that indeed the Dark Hunter was correct. With that matter settled and knowing that there was no hope to get out of here she returned to curling herself up against the corner. His next speech did nothing, but cause her to sigh with remorse as she muttered softly, her voice filled with misery.

"No, whatever he brings back won't do much damage to me. Nothing he brings could possibly be worse."

When the Dark Hunter returned her eyes would shift in his direction. She watched as Frost's chains began to bring him up against his wall and then force him to sit down. She lifted one of her arms slowly to see that her chains remained loose and silently thanking Fate that she was not receiving the same treatment as Frost. It was when the Dark Hunter began to address her did she begin to shake. She didn't like thinking about her past let alone seeing that someone knew so much about her. The sudden memory of being a child came to the forefront of her mind, her small frame being locked away within a silver cage, her own limbs chained, as tears stained down her undamaged face. Her younger self looked on to her familiar pack members as their cold eyes glared at her, their faces filled with hate, disgust, or with a sneer. Suddenly the memory revealed one of the members of her pack taking her out, as they began to yell, brandishing their own weapons, some in partial shift bearing their fangs, as they began to attack her. These same memories began to flood to Frost, the girl unaware of that for a moment. It was when the Dark Hunter began to make his way to her did she stare up at him in absolute horror. As he began to stroke her mauled face she let out a soft whimper, hating how his fingers touched her skin, jerking her head away so that it could be out of his reach. Though when he began to lower himself down and being to press his bulk frame against her own lithe frame, she let out another soft whimper, absolutely hating this form of touch. As he continued to reveal her past the memory of that terrible night began to resurface. She could actually feel her memories begin to swirl and slowly seep out, her eyes widening in shock at the realization that her memory was being slipped into Frost's mind. It would seem that this particular power of hers was not wholly affected by the potion, because if it was she would be withering pain.

Frost would begin to see flashes in Raven's point of view as her mind and soul began to rip in two. That night when she went feral she had lost all complete control. Freeing herself from the chains that held her in place when she grew too large for the cage, she went on a rampage. Anything that moved was killed within her jaws. The sound of her snarls filled her ears, she could actually feel the rage and pain she felt all those years of being abused resurface as she was in her feral state of mind. Her jaws would find man, woman, or child, never stopping, her vision being splattered with the blood of her victims. Her face suddenly began to pale, her skin whiter than a full moon, as she began to relive her terror and shame, feeling her memories slip into Frost's. He was never supposed to know and now he did. She could hardly look at Frost as her own hands reached either side of her temple, applying pressure as she attempted to break the connection. She was successful in doing such a thing the moment the Dark Hunter was gone, and she couldn't help but tremble. As he began to cut into Frost she winced and looked away not wanting to see anything. When he moved out of the cage and went into the area across from them, she briefly gave a glance at Frost to see if he was indeed still alive. Sure enough we was. Muttering softly to him she apologized for him being forced to see a hidden side of herself.

"I...I didn't mean for you to see that."

After admitting her apology her eyes focused on the door and when the Dark Hunter returned declaring her to be a good prisoner, but having to suffer from Frost's hand, she began to panic. Fearfully she looked over to Frost and the dagger that slid next to him. Terrified and unable to contact her pack her eyes frantically looked to Frost. Her body instantly curling tighter, wanting to protect her organs from him. She had no idea why the Dark Hunter gave him permission to harm her, but she knew that Frost had the intent to do it...but what he would do to her she had no idea. So, she remained looking at him shaking, silently praying that perhaps this was all just a terrible, terrible nightmare that wasn't true.
