South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

When one goes feral it isn't necessary due to a trigger. They were chasing one another a harmless game that was meant to relieve the chains of their past and accept their opportunity to let themselves be free. Games were something she could never indulge in, but now that she had no one to tell her otherwise she was going to play every game at any chance. It was high time she knew how to have some sort of fun and it was quite a thrilling experience that she wished this particular high could never go away. Happiness and joy is always fleeting and once more whatever good thing comes along there is always some force ruining it. In this point it time it was her own damn fault- no one else's. That she had fallen to this mindset was not because of the game that was a mere coincidence. The she-wolf was struggling to refrain herself from attacking her friend. She knew the scarlet fox was not a threat or prey, but for some reason her unstable mind had decided otherwise. Running away from the fox was by far the best thing she could have ever done. The night she attacked her own pack was the night that her human counterpart was unable to take any sort of control. The only thing buzzing through her head was the hatred she felt as it began to attach itself to her feral thoughts. That primal feeling of protecting herself from all sorts of threats, which was the very reason why she was willing to attack everyone. All those years of hatred, all those years of being tormented and abused had just come crashing down upon her that fateful night. That was the second time she was unable to keep herself from hurting those around her. She did not care for them, did not love them, but they were pack and it was one of the most ultimate sins a Were should never commit.

As she laid within the tall grasses, grateful that the grass was tall and thick enough to block the view of the fox she was starting to feel the feral mind's grip start to slacken, if only slightly. The urge to harm the fox was still there, but because she could not see the poor girl that drive was slowly fading. This was not a fast and easy cure. This was simply a Band-Aid going over a life threatening wound. Always she would have to be careful, never letting her guard down should she be around others in this state. At this point in time she was able to stop herself, twice now, from nearly knocking the girl. Hearing the girl speak to her repeating her ailment only caused the wolf to whimper louder. The urge for help and the desire to kill was still growing inside her. Managing to get herself on all four paws she stood still before she took a few tentative steps in the direction where the fox was. Snarling, angry with herself, she would start to bite own front legs, letting out a cry as she dug her teeth into her flesh. Biting her own legs only caused the girl to trip and fall within the long grasses. Panting as her skin and fur began to patch itself up. Taking a bite out of her own flesh had apparently been a tentative solution. It had given her a chance to get the fox off her mind as she slowly felt her feral mind start to go. Her body heaving as the sharp pains in her legs remained, reminding her as to why she had harmed herself. The desire to harm the fox was finally being replaced with the deep concerns of her friend. What would the girl think of her now, now that the fox-girl would understand that she wasn't a creature to stick around. Softly she would whisper to the girl, letting her know that all would be well...for now.

"It is safe."
