South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

If there was one that could be said about the animal kingdom, is that dogs and cats are always opposed with one another, but they had the capability to tolerate one another. In this point in time there was no real reason as to why they should be opposed to one another, neither was upset, defending, or angry at the other. When she heard the spotted cat's voice easily flow into her mind she couldn't help, but give a soft snort with condescension. That all canines are bad...it was unfair judgment. However, she had to admit that the canines she knew never really treated her well. This particular deranged feline in front of her had never, not once, laid a tooth or claw on her. Sure he spat and growled at her, but that was typical for their nature. Perhaps he was correct that felines were particular better at something. Canines should naturally be capable of having an easier comradery relationship with one another, it was within their DNA to protect and care for one another. Yet the hierarchy of pack and the need to survive by sticking to rules was enough to break those special ties. Her own ability to trust anyone had been shattered and she was attempting to create that desperate connection to feel like she wouldn't have to walk in this world constantly looking over her shoulder. Those tendril frays had been latching on to the spotted cat and to the scarlet fox and perhaps one day she would be capable of forming a bond with either two, but hopefully more would follow. For now, however, she simply had to continue to tread carefully, keeping in mind that if she could not trust her own pack- then how could she trust outsiders?

Once being captured by an excellent pounce on Tobi's part she couldn't help, but wag her fluffy grey tail, matching colored paws only continued to playfully bat at him. She would pull her head away, slightly, as soon as he let go of her ear, giving it a twitch to reassure herself he hadn't chewed it off. While he got up and rolled his muscles around she would tilt her head to the side inquiring if she performed she wouldn't be tricked into a thrashing. When he confirmed that he wouldn't she would snap her eyes shut, hearing him run off, but that seed of doubt began to appear and grow. Would this be an evil trick he would play on her? Just, run off outside the park, all to make her search for him endlessly. She hoped not. Thinking she had waited long enough she would seek him out, nearly missing him, if it wasn't for that wind picking up his scent. She was quite proud of herself for playing this new found game correctly, her tail wagging with joy as some small part of confidence grew. It is silly, to think a game could boost someone's self-confidence, but for her it was a much needed thing. His annoyed huff had only caused the girl to suddenly question her assumption that she was correct. Listening to his reason why she had not won only made her crack a wolfish grin- she knew she won if he was getting so flustered and making up rules he had never mentioned before in order to make himself the winner. Cats were such prideful creatures and it was best if she didn't fight this. However, his latter comment made her shake her head in mild protest. He was not Alpha. He was not pack. There was no such bond and it was difficult for her to see and understand such things that he saw.

"Why do I have to get you dinner? I do not belong to you."

Not once had she submitted to him. Not once did he force her in such a position. He was becoming a friend, it was getting easier to communicate with him, and whatever shreds of capability to have trust of another, it was slowly being repaired with him. Watching him leave his hiding spot, blue-grey eyes watched as his tail brushes against her side, the feeling of being touched was a subtle hint of be accepted. That is what she has observed at least in others within her pack. The way they would brush their form against the other whether they were sitting, walking, playing or hunting, it was touch that made one familiar and held the idea that both would be there for the other. Should the spotted feline continue to use this method it would only assure her that he was content with her presence. She would watch him walk away eyes narrowing when he suddenly dropped his form. Hearing his low growl she would silently approach him unsure if what he saw was a good thing or a bad thing, worried to think he had stumbled upon something bad. Yet as she hunkered down, her form right next to his, her eyes would narrow as she watched the clump of bunnies happily grazing their meal, for some, it would be their last. Turning her head to the spotted cat, her eyes would roam over his still skinny form, a wave of concern overwhelmed her, as she politely suggested that he should be having a different meal- not challenging his demand for his hunger of a rabbit.

"You want a bunny? They... will not fill you up. You need something bigger."

Hearing her own stomach began to growl with the possibility of an easy meal had caused the she-wolf to change her mind at the moment. Keeping her sleek form low to the ground she would cautiously move through the long grasses making a wide arch assuring herself that she was to remain downwind while the bunnies stuffed there adorable faces. Creeping upon them from behind, her jaws would part as she silently barred her long sharp knives. The innocent bunnies weren't aware of the predator behind them and so, when she was able to snatch up one bunny and break its neck with one chomp, they remained unaware. Dropping the carcass to the ground she would move quickly grabbing another bunny, and another, before the bunnies seemed to catch on. Releasing a growl she would chase after the bunnies managing to herd them towards the awaiting leopard, the bunnies having no idea just what was lurking among the, what appeared to be, safe tall grasses. The leopard wanted a bunny and she had provided him not just the three she killed behind her, but these tasty little morsels as well. The she-wolf discovered a loophole...even though she killed some bunnies she was making him do some work as well...it would be pitiful for his pride should he refuse to kill one providing the girl with ammunition to tease and joke about his ability to be a killing machine and call him a house cat. Turning around, hearing his advances on the bunnies, she would head over to her three kills bringing them back towards him her tail swaying side to side happily.
