West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Samantha Cassidy

The young empath hardly meant to offend the wolf in front of her, though she could tell that she did. Sometimes it was so easy to read people that she forgot that it could be unsettling for the people around her. Emotions were supposed to be private things, but they were anything but that for the young faerie. By now, reading the emotions was as easy as breathing. It was as much a part of her senses as smelling or seeing. If someone felt something, it was right there in front of her to see. She shifted uncomfortably as Raven reacted to her words, explaining that it was none of her business what went on between Samantha and her Alpha. Still, she could tell the girl was questioning what it was about Sam that had drawn Tetradore in. It seemed to be a battle for the girl to question herself while also trying to keep her own thoughts out of the way. She merely looked up as she explained why she wanted the best for Aiden. She wanted to ask questions about the zoo captors she spoke of, though that was precisely none of her business. Truthfully, the young girl hardly paid attention to the name of the other Alpha she spoke of. By now, she was truly just wanting to get near her boyfriend â€" though she hardly offered up that that was what she had begun to refer to him as. She could say she wasn't much to the man, though she knew that wasn't entirely true. Still, it was his pack. If he wanted them to know she was his girlfriend, she'd allow him to be the one to tell.

Being motioned to follow caused Sam to jerk back to attention, relieved that Raven had seemed to sense that the last thing she wanted was a tour of the massive ship. All she wanted right now was to see him. She thought of the vampire and his final words to her. Run. Run and don't stop until you're with someone you feel safe. She supposed it was that that had drawn her to Aiden. After all, he'd saved her once. He'd shown he was more than capable of taking care of her. "Yes, thank you," was all Samantha offered up as she stood, moving to follow the girl. She moved through the crowd with practiced ease. The crowds seemed to part for the woman in front of her, though they made no such effort for Samantha. She could catch glimpses of wonder at what she was, disgust that she wasn't one of them. There was so much noise, though Samantha hardly heard the roar of the crowd over the stampede of their emotions all trying to crowd their way into her head all at once. Samantha instinctively reached up to cover her ears with her hands as though she could block it out, though that hardly helped in the slightest. She could feel the headache growing in her. It was as though the sheer amount of emotions were pressing against her skull. It was the same feeling she got at the burlesque, only amplified.

By the time she reached the stairs, Samantha felt lightheaded. She paused at the steps, reaching to hold on to the railing as she fought to catch her breath. The crowd seemed to play on her weakness, making her feel certainly more frail than she truly was. Still, she pushed herself up the stairs after Raven, hoping that wherever it was they were going would be out of the roar of the crowd. Samantha had barely made it up the stairs before she heard Raven talking and the sound of her boyfriend's name. The blood loss combined with the overwhelming plethora of emotions from downstairs certainly made the girl weak, and she found herself grasping at the railing simply to keep herself upright. It was only when she felt the concern from her boyfriend that she lifted her gaze. He was wearing nothing but a pair of pants that dipped low on his hips, and though Sam had seen him shirtless before, she couldn't help the lust that washed over her. Quickly, though, it was over washed by the situation at hand. She watched as he stepped towards her, and while she merely meant to reach out to take his hand, she ended up grabbing onto his arm for support.

It was his question that she found herself struggling to answer. Samantha thought of the way that she'd felt nothing but fear when the child vampire had grabbed hold of her with her power, how she'd begged for mercy that had fallen on the deaf ears of the child. But when it came to the vampire that bit her, she'd felt nothing but his anger. His disgust. His sadness. He hadn't wanted to bite her even though the child had commanded him to. It had hardly felt like an attack, though it had been entirely against her will. And even then, there was the way he'd made her feel better about the situation. How she'd... she'd almost wanted it. The thought made her shiver. No. She hadn't wanted that. She hadn't wanted him. She wanted Aiden. Aiden, the man in front of her.

Slowly, the young faerie lifted her gaze to look up at her boyfriend's, letting out a soft breath. "I'm fine," She insisted, though she felt anything but. Her legs felt shaky, she felt lightheaded. The whole situation made her feel frail. "I went for a walk in the forest. I do that sometimes. It's quiet. The burlesque... it's so..." She motioned to her head, hoping he'd understand what she meant. "There was a hunter. She was hurt. I... I felt her pain. I wanted to help. But there were two vampires, too. A child... and a man. The child killed her, and then kept me... I couldn't move. I don't know how, but I couldn't move..." She closed her eyes, shaking her head at the memory. "She commanded the man to drink. From me. So he did. But he... I could tell he didn't want to, Aiden. And he made me feel... he made me feel like I wanted it. Like I wanted him. And then he drank. And when he was done. He told me to run and to find someone who made me feel safe." She lifted her gaze up to his. "So I came here. To you. But they weren't letting me in, and Raven came and found me and she got me patched up." Intentionally, the young girl left out that Raven had pinned her down, hardly knowing if that would upset him. She'd been so kind to her, she hardly wanted to cause anything that would get Raven in trouble. She turned, looking at the girl beside her with a smile. "She got me taken care of. Thank you," She said the latter to the girl beside her. She turned back to Aiden, looking up at him. "I... you're the person I felt safest with. And I was scared and I..." She let her voice trail off, unsure of exactly what to say.
