West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Why he chose to have the two of them out on a cruise for vacation, she did not know, but she was willing to continue to roll with whatever happens. She had no idea this morning that the moment she was shoved to wake up that she would be in a pool, on a cruise ship, trying to get her boyfriend on a paddle board. It was not difficult to see how afraid he was. She could actually taste his fear and it unnerved her to no end to see him in this way. It did not help that the people around them began to shout and mutter in such an angry tone, her own cheeks burning from embarrassment at the amount of attention they were receiving. However, she remained calm, her eyes focused solely on her trapped companion, attempting to be his supportive crutch. Soft fingers would slowly circle along his dark tanned skin, trying to urge him through sensory to come back and stop focusing on the water or the shouts from the crowd. A soft smile appeared on her mauled face as he finally looked at her, but it would falter and morphed into a concern look, noting the stuttering in his voice holding the fearful tone. Softly her voice held an encouraging tone as he began to slowly touch the paddle board. With a nod her and a small smile, pleased to see him try, she hoped that her encouraging words and positive attitude would rub off him.

"I know, but you have to trust me it will be okay, it will..."

She wished not everyone in this world was impatient. Why everyone had to be cruel, unreasonable, and unforgiving she did not know, but she was ashamed that no one would give her the chance to get Tobias out of the way. This was her rare chance to prove to Tobias that she could actually keep him safe for a change. The spotted cat golden-furred wildcat had always been there for her when she was in trouble and the least she could do for him was to return the favor. Blue-grey eyes would widen in shock as her head lifted slightly to look over the slide and see the lifeguard at the top begin to turn on the hose and have it run down the slide. As soon as Tobias landed on the board, she clung to him tightly, leaning him against her so that he would not fall in the water. She would rather fall and get wet than have him suffer that fate. She wasn't sure how neither of them got wet but she let out a yelp when the board crashed into the side of the pool, their bodies flung to the deck, her arm scraped and part of her jeans ripped on the side. Slowly she attempted to rise up, taking the hand he offered, and using him to help her up. With a sigh she looked over her scraped arm and noticed the torn jeans letting out a soft sigh of annoyance.

Feeling all eyes upon them she instinctively side-stepped a bit closer to Tobias wanting nothing more than to disappear. Yet that was clearly not on his mind. When he stepped away, heading for the male that was responsible for this entire ordeal, she quickly followed after him trying to think of some way to keep him from doing something that would cause them both to be in trouble. As he stood right in front of the male, hoisting him up by his shirt, she franticly took an approach, but stop the moment she saw another worker begin to take out their walke-talkie to call for security. Wanting to keep them both out of trouble she raised her head slightly as she stepped up to the female worker. She knew Tobias wouldn't have willingly gone down a slide that would land him in the water, it didn't matter how it all happened, but the fact that it did it gave her reason to at least do something. Her voice was low and firm, for the female worker to be the only one to hear her, as she looked into the worker's brown eyes, threatening the girl in the only way Raven knew would get them out of this jam.

"Call Security and I'll threaten to sue â€" he has a disability â€" and since your personnel didn't treat him fairly, you all decided to wrongfully shove him down the slide when he didn't want to go down, and then you decide to spray water on him putting him in this state...so do you really want to call security?"

The female-worker weakly spluttered a quick 'no ma'am,' and immediately began telling security to ignore her call that it was all just an accident and misunderstanding. With that one part solved she turned around and headed over towards Tobias, her cheeks flushed red as she once again noticed all the eyes upon them. She hated having attention on herself. Calmly she placed her hand on Tobias' arm that had the hand clutching to the worker's shirt. Softly her melodic and smooth voice held such a comforting and understanding tone as she tried to get her companion to let the worker go. Although she wanted him to suffer some sort of punishment, she didn't want Tobias's choice of their vacation to go wrong. Blue-grey eyes searched for his own eyes as she attempted to reach his both sides.

"Tobi, Tobi I know...I know he was a jerk to you. But you can't hurt him, look around people are afraid...and security is going to come. Let him down gently Tobi, without harming him, please? Leave him alone and we'll go get some food at the buffet."

At least she was trying.
