West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

There is little left for Nadya to find surprising in Tobias. His complete comprehension and unbroken reply to her half insult hardly rose a brow in his direction. She had never really attempted speaking to him in their native tongue; her own logical thinking figured that if he couldn't even understand English then he surely followed the same pattern with Spanish. Nadya was left in the wrong so filed away that tidbit of information for later use. It would perhaps come in handy he truly seemed incapable of understanding something in the future otherwise.

Her lashing out at his prized possession was given more than a snort of indifference before she left her room and Tobias whisked the toy away to his room. She was left to stand on the walk with her gaze skimming over the crowd with unbridled disdain. They were loud, obnoxiously so, and above the thick of it it echoed from bouncing off the steel walls around them. The panther grumbled inwardly, large paws carrying her form to descend down the stairs to weave through the patrons. Although Tobias and herself readily struck out at each other, the brush of his form against hers as he joined her was a welcomed one. Since her move into the Ark, Nadya spent the majority of her time in her Were form and the primitive mind of the feline had begun to take over which meant it latched on strongly to the pack bond and fractured her human one. Little did Nadya know that Tobias would be turning that around on her.

Nadya followed Tobias willingly over to where Jackal stood beside one of the rings. She hardly thought anything of it; it wasn't odd to see an employee by the ring after all. Though Jackal's words caused confusion to cross through her mind as he seemed to be talking about something she had no idea the topic of. If she had been in human form she would have questioned him on what it was he meant but all she could do was cast a questioning gaze that Jackal didn't seem to catch. Nadya had begun to understand though, through Jackal's motioning to the ring, and was about to turn about and leave before a sharp bite landed at her back feet driving Nadya to leap forward away from it. Her body swung around to lash out at Tobias though he had already anticipated this move and loped away with a feline snicker. Nadya was met by the ring door shutting in front of her face. A displeased growl whined in her throat, narrowing her gaze and pinning her ears against her skull as she stared at the closed door. She refused to turn around, refused to acknowledge the ring behind her that Tobias strutted around in to the applause of the crowd.

Across the ring entered their opponents, one an armadillo which rolled in then popped open to zip in tight circles and the other a large crocodile that lumbered after the armadillo snapping its jaws. Nadya is finally given to turn around, accepting that the door would not be opened for her, but still refusing to partake in the fight. She simply lowered her rump to the ground and curled her tail about her with her gaze narrowed at Tobias. "I don't...want to play." That same angered growl reverberated in her chest. Her agitation at the events was clear in her tone as her words found their way into Tobias' mind alone. The opponents didn't seem to heed the fact that one of their rivals seemed unwilling to participant and began all the same. The armadillo had apparently chosen Nadya as its adversary and with a running start popped into its ball form and rolled swiftly at the ebony jaguar. Nadya didn't think much of the animal coming at her as she simple stood to step away from it. The armadillo grazed her back leg as she moved away with more force than was natural, causing Nadya's back end to bend at the impact and ripping a spitting hiss from her in its direction. The armadillo hit the wall of the ring with a heavy thud before popping back open in order to gauge where Nadya had moved to in order to strike again.

It obviously had skin of rock and was using that as a way in attempt to break the bones of the jaguar from the force. The strike against Nadya caused the superior beast within her mind to lash out, attempting to claim her mind completely. The longer she remained in this form the more the feral mind took over and an attack only seemed to spark it. Still she tried to fight the odd clash between the feral brain and the cognitive human one, causing Nadya to shake her head and stumble slightly at the chaos that began to well inside her. "Tobi...lied. I...don't fight." It felt like she was trying to swim upstream, knowing where she wanted to go but not having enough strength to do it with a tidal wave crashing into her over and over again.
