West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

kissing death and loosing my breath

Serafina hardly moved at all as the lights overhead begun to flicker on far brighter than she had anticipated. Their white luminescent stare certainly seemed more clinical and methodical like a weapon store then the dingy and poorly lit nook her shop had come from. A small frown crossed her lips as she paused her cleaning to glance upwards at the bulbs. Maybe she'd replace them with a softer light. The thought, however, hardly lingered long on her mind at the sound of Raven's voice within her mind and slowly she glanced at the female canine. She couldn't really disagree with her and so, instead, the young witch offered the smallest of shrugs. "I guess you have a point there. But if it doesn't work, we're raiding his whole closet." There was a small, sly grin upon the girl's features at the notion, clearly intending to leave Azrael shoeless and coatless....and every other less she could think of should things go south. It certainly helped to make her less anxious about pursuing this surely atypical relationship despite all the odds that were stacked against them.

The mention of her swamp adventure, however, saw the girl pause with a soft sigh. "I am sure he will make sure to get swamp on me just to spite me." The girl muttered more to herself then her companion. It was perhaps no secret that she was particularly meticulous on where things went within her home. Everything had it's place and if it wasn't in use her townhouse was kept in a rather immaculate state. Her and swamp surely didn't mix. Regardless, Serafina was willing to at least try and see where their evening would go. Nevertheless, Serafina hardly dwelled long on the prospect of what her date had to hold for her. Instead, Serafina focused on attention to the bookshelf she struggled so to move. Her hands clasped together in a rare display of glee as Raven so effortlessly maneuvered the shelf exactly where she wanted it. Why pay for movers when she had a magical canine? Right? She glanced over towards the were at the sound of her voice, her grey tinged gaze glancing around for whatever 'this' happened to entail. Serafina certainly wasn't disappointed.

A wry grin crossed her features as the cleaning supplies begun to move on their own, ridding themselves of a decades worth of dust while they moved against the wall exactly where she had intended for them to be. "Good job." She stated, her voice quite clearly purring of praise. Her gaze momentarily shifted back towards the wolf, surprised to see that instead the human girl had replaced the familiar form of the colored creature. Her eyebrows furrowed for a moment as she watched Raven consider the words she wanted to speak and patiently, Serafina waited until those syllables hesitantly left her companion's lips. A warm grin slowly crossed Serafina's features and slowly, Serafina stepped towards her companion, reaching out to take Raven's hands within her own. "He would be a fool not to, Raven. And when he does, we'll make you look as beautiful as a princess, okay?" She nodded firmly, as if she was not to be argued with this. After all, that was what friends were for, right?
