West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It had certainly been an interesting morning. The faerie queen had woken up in her favorite place: curled up in the arms of the Were Alpha that she was rapidly falling for. When she'd gotten off work at the burlesque the night before, she'd taken off not towards the Western apartment she called home, but straight towards the Ark. It had been several days since she had seen Aiden, their schedules â€" along with that of the full moon â€" had made it difficult to meet up. But she had the day off today, and she'd felt no need to keep herself at home when she could meet up with the boy she was so fond of. The Ark was in full swing as she'd arrived, even though it was well into the early hours of the morning. Jackal was well aware of the faerie girl and who she was to Tetradore by now, the Mexican man waving her in with a pleasant greeting. "Thank you," She'd told him easily. "Will you let Aiden know I'm headed up to his room, please?" It had been a polite gesture to the man before she'd lost herself in the crowd, ignoring the pounding headache that threatened to overwhelm her as she made her way up the stairs and into Aiden's room.

She'd been asleep when he'd come in, but that hadn't stopped her from waking up curled up against him, the steady rhythm of his heart having been her lullaby for the morning. It was always a good morning in the fae's book to wake up against the man, and for awhile she had been content to merely lay against him and let him sleep. But, as always, the desire to move had taken over her and she'd found herself pulling out of his arms and headed straight for his shower, ready to start the day even if he was still asleep. She was off today, and today she was determined to pull the Alpha from the fighting rings to spend some time with her. She would get the man out of the Ark and take her on a proper date, even if she had to drag him out herself. Of that, she was sure.

By the time she entered his room again after her shower â€" she had to admit, she took long ones â€" wrapped only in a towel, he was awake and sitting at his desk poured over a stack of papers that the faerie girl was sure could wait until a later date. "Good morning," She chirped in his ear as she moved to sit on the arm of his desk chair. One hand held the towel around herself, the other going to cup his cheek as she leaned in to kiss him. "I hope I didn't wake you." She'd meant to let him sleep. She had no idea how long he'd been up after she'd gotten there, but she hated the idea of having interrupted his rest with her removing herself from his bed. It was only a moment that she perched on his chair before she got up, ruffling his dark curls in the process. Her eyes never quite left him as she moved to the dresser, pulling her own clothes out of a drawer to dress herself in the jeans and plaid shirt she'd left here the last time she'd spent the night. It was only once she was properly dressed did she go to sit in the chair beside his desk, taking a glance at the clock on the wall that indicated that it was well past the morning and almost time to reopen the Ark. Well, if she was going to get him out to spend time with her, it was certainly time to do that now.

"Babe," She said after a moment, leaning forward in the chair so she could reach out and touch his arm, drawing his attention away from his work and back to her. "Let's go get dinner or something. Oh, and we should see if Tobi and Raven want to come as well. We can have a double date." She offered no more encouragement, instead getting to her feet to coax him to his feet. The faerie girl moved towards the mirror to brush out her hair as she gave him time to dress himself, waiting only long enough for him to be ready before she grabbed his hand, pulling him out of the bedroom and towards the stairwell that led to the fighting rings.

It was the sound of the screaming that seemed to alert them both, the faerie girl giving a tug on his hand as she hurried him down the stairs. When she came towards the stairs and could see the scene that unfolded below her, for several moments it didn't make sense. Jackal bleeding, Raven with blood on her, Tobi looking concerned. The emotions that swarmed around them all were ones of fear and confusion, but none of that made sense considering the group that she stared at. "Raven? Tobi?" She called out, taking a step forward with her boyfriend. It seemed all at once the wolf noticed her, those eyes turning on her in a way that made Samantha's skin crawl. It wasn't the friendly wolf she was so used to, but one that seemed wild. Her power reached out, attempting to figure out what it was that Raven was feeling, but before she could determine it, the wolf rounded towards her.

There was no time for the fae girl to react, the body of a Were slamming into her. She'd only had a second to process that it was Tobi, not Raven, that had pushed her down and broke her hold on Aiden's hand. "Tobi, what the helâ€"" The woman started, trailing off as the feline curled around her almost protectively. It was only then that Raven's actions seemed to add up with Tobi's. He was protecting her, keeping her safe. But from Raven? Raven would never hurt her. Samantha was part of their pack now, part of their family, and she'd seen Raven's loyalty first hand. It didn't make any sense. Still, the faerie girl didn't get to her feet, instead moved to sit on her knees so that she could see over Tobi's form, watching earnestly to see what exactly was happening, and what Tobi and Aiden were going to do about it.
