West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Nadya Tetradore

The weekend had gone by far too fast. It always did. The precious days she had with her twins began with such elation and ended with such heartbreak that forced the shift to overcome the young woman. Nadya had followed the car that contained her adoptive parents and her children to the very edge of the city. With sharp yellow eyes she watched that car continue on down the road until it disappeared beyond the horizon. It was with an aching heart that the panther's large paws carried her back home. Nadya doubted her brother would care about her trek into town since she had been so reclusive within the Ark whenever the twins weren't over for the weekend visit. Perhaps Tobias had dragged him into the fight rings tonight and he wouldn't even notice.

Her attention remained on the cement that she passed over, hardly paying attention to her surroundings the closer she got to the Ark. Nadya had been relieved from the duty of patrol so investigating the grounds wasn't even on her radar. A crunch of leaves beneath shoes though brought the panther's head jerking up and ears twitched forward in alert. The sound of another would be expected on the other side of the warehouses closer to the dock where the Ark was parked. Immediately the ebony feline pressed her form into the shadows and slunk against the walls of the nearest warehouse to hide her approach on the stranger. The first sight that met her was that of a silhouette walking with surety through the alleyway which caused the hackles along her neck to rise before she stepped out into the light.

It was perhaps with luck that the strange woman recognized the feline first for not only had it been so long since Nadya had seen her but her whole body language was unrecognizable. The lyrics that passed from the woman when she turned though struck a familiar chord, breaking through the haze of animal mind causing Nadya to falter in her steps. The panther's lips relaxed slowly, hiding ivory canines from view as she blinked. The light salty breeze from the ocean took some time for Nadya to sniff and pick out the woman's scent. This woman was...not a stranger...it was...Alexis? The meek woman who she had chased hunters away from, helped her get clothes, and disappeared after their brief coffee run-in at the café. This steadfast woman was certainly not the skittish soft spoken fox she had last seen.

It was however a welcome familiar face. Nadya's bristled coat smoothed as she closed the distance loping over to Alexis. The once start of a growl in warning to an intruder was quickly replaced with the reverberation of a purr as she weaved about Alexis rubbing against her legs. The friction between the fox and certain members of her pack were unknown to the panther, simply excited to see that the woman was safe and alive. The language barrier between their two forms didn't stop the panther from expressing her delight as she curled a large paw around Alexis' leg and playfully bit at her calf in attempt to entice the woman to shift and join her.
