West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He could almost feel the adrenaline within the woman behind him, her cheeks flushed with excitement and energy, her heart beating just that little bit faster, those more predatory responses within himself so aware of her current state and yet here and now it brought him little but delight to see the woman enjoy herself. Especially in an activity that required so many rules to be broken along the way. He saw no need to inform her of that charity they had robbed, the less she knew of that the better she would be. Tobias unwilling to squash her momentary freedom and feeling of exhilaration with knowing those pilfered presents had been taken from a 'worthy' cause. It was better, tonight, to let her have that moment, the men so relishing that look of life that seemed to overcome her and the energy that turned within it, overcoming that normally reserved, almost shy exterior and that need to keep to herself Raven so often presented to the world. He could hardly talk, surely, Tobias so believing he held little right to either judge or consider the rightness of the personality of others when he himself was but a walking disaster incapable of truly mastering his own mind in one way or another. That fracture within his youth resulting in those two distinct personalities. What had once been a godsend, in that it had surely saved him by sparing his mind the worst of it, had become an entity all its own that so often seemed to enjoy taking control until he no longer truly believed he knew which part of himself was the true self. That press of her lips drew him away from his own thoughts then, a grin touching his own features before he moved to that car, Ravens assurance she could drive waved gently off.

"I got it."

He moved easily then, as if he'd done it a thousand times before, opening the door for Raven before taking his place in the driver's seat. The engine purred to life beneath him, the car hardly one of those spectacular vehicles he and Tetra jointly owned and yet for tonight it would be enough. Those presents were piled onto the back seat, Tobias pulling easily away from the curb and onto the road, one hand resting on the steering wheel, the other leaning on the window as if it was the most natural thing in the world. He adored those vehicles. Both sides of him relishing in it and yet it was only here and now, after all these years, that he had seemingly remembered his own ability to command them. His features frowned ever so slightly, contemplating just that. He remembered driving and yet, what had he forgotten in place of it? Why now? Was he losing something of his other self to make way for that memory? It was easy to dismiss those thoughts, at least for now, the shaggy-haired deviant refusing to ruin this entirely perfect night, his words cheeky then, teasing at her with this newfound driving skill only to find her voice filled with worry once more as he chuckled, eyes rolling. Tobias commanding that normalcy with ease- turning his dark golden eyes obediently back to the road as told.

"Yes Raven."

There was a tease to his words all the same, the boy pulling further and further away from the west for the first time in months, the air in the south cleaner, colder and free of that city smog. There was a wildness to it he loved, so much so he feared waking that other side of him and yet for now at least the boy still slumbered somewhere in the confines of the man. The car slowed to a stop as they crested the top of that mountain, the city lights aglow beneath them and spread out into the darkness. He slid easily from the car, moving to open her door once more, careful not to close the dress within it as he let her out, leaving her to watch that sight a moment longer before softly uttering her name. It was an easy distraction, one that gave him just enough time to scoop her up and into his arms- her own wrapping about his neck as she nuzzle into him. She smelled glorious. Tobias almost stunned to notice it. Was it perfume? Shampoo? The man considering for a moment whether or not he had either bought either of those things for her as he held her close before seating her on the front of that car, the boy swinging up to join her a moment later, letting their legs stretch out in front of them as if their toes touch those lights. His arm wrapping about her to draw her close in that possessive fashion he hardly cared to hide. They were alone here, after all. Her lips pressing again to his cheek as she spoke.

"What, might I ask, is wrong with teenagers? I have no idea how old I am and by that notion I'm allowed to be a teenager."

It was true, after all, Tobias hardly knew his age though he suspected he was beyond those teenage years somehow, the man chuckling softly again before seeking her lips. If this was indeed a make out point then surely it deserved to be honoured as such, didn't it? Raven returning that gesture with no hesitation, leaning closer into him. God how it drove him mad. Her closeness was intoxicating. He wanted so much more then she might, still, not be ready to give. The scent and taste of her pressed upon his instincts as both animal and man to take that thing he wanted and yet still he held himself back. Assured the day would come when Raven might finally allow him to go further, perhaps even ask him too and yet it hardly stopped the way his thoughts so danced around just what he would like to do to her, in a variety of waves, in a plethora of positions and an abundance of locations. He wanted her. Desperately so, her kisses hardly enough, though he allowed himself to pull back reluctantly once more to let her speak. His entire outfit suddenly seeming uncomfortably warm and notably tight in some places though for once he hardly cared if the woman beside him was aware of it. Some things could not be helped. Those quiet words saw his own golden eyes return to her, the young man frowning slightly before a smile found his features at last, one hand reaching up to run through her curly hair and tuck it behind her ear in a gesture of affection- his lips brushing her own once more.

"I can show you how, but you have to let me."

There was nothing short of gentleness in those words. He meant it, entirely so, he could show her how to enjoy life far more than she did if she would only let him and yet he was aware too- of that process and how long it might take all the same. She would not learn, overnight, to let go of the barriers that held her back. Though for now perhaps, there was at least once barrier he could cross, if only a little. It was easy to lean across her then, hands resting softly on her hips before Tobias quite easily rolled her towards him and into his lap atop that car, arms wrapping gently around her waist as he nuzzled against the side of her neck, lips pressing to her jaw- his words hardly more than a whisper to her ear as he let his teeth so teasingly nip at the lobe in an entirely playful fashion.

"You know, there is a lot I would like to show you, Birdie...."
