West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Abigail seemed super excited about the whole birthday thing, not that she was going to ruin it for her. Birthdays just were never made into anything special for her before so maybe the other Were could put a fun spin on it and she'll actually have fun for once. She didn't know what to expect at a birthday, an actual one. Did people just sing and blow out candles or was there more to it? Would she be expected to dance? Her brows furrowed thoughtfully. She didn't think she was all that good at it. She'd danced with Frost and Alexander before but both men were leaders in that area and she pretty much was dragged through the steps willingly, letting them show her where to put her feet. She didn't know what she would do if she was expected to know on her own. Abigail looked surprised when she said that she wanted an orange. She didn't really know what else to ask for. What did one ask for usually at a birthday? Clothes? A new best friend? She had no idea so an orange sounded pretty good to her.

Alexis couldn't help but smile when she offered to get her the orange and a cake. Hm, what would that be like?

"WHAT KIND OF CAKE?"

She couldn't help but ask, curiosity shining in her eyes. She didn't even know what flavors she would like. Chocolate things were always good, or at least Alexander's hot chocolate was. It was delicious actually. Abigail even offered to go to the bookstore and get her a new book too! Her eyebrows shot up in surprise at the kind gesture. She would really do all that for her? They had only just met and this girl was already offering to get her so much. Alexis didn't know what to think. She asked how it sounded and Alexis thought on it for a minute before she smiled and nodded.

"IT SOUNDS LOVELY. BEST BIRTHDAY EVER."

She admitted with confidence. When she asked if Abigail couldn't read, it didn't really surprise her that in fact that girl could read. She had been even been to an actual school where she came from! Alexis' eyes widened at the thought. She'd only ever seen schools in movies and tv shows, with the pristine wooden desks all in a row and the kids that raised their hands for attendence and did show and tell and slid notes to their friends and giggled and all that other fun stuff. She envied that kind of lifestyle. She never had that growing up. She wasn't allowed to be around the other kids. Her dad said she didn't deserve to have friends and be taught things. She was stupid and sheltered, just the way he wanted her. Now every time she talked to someone, she got to see how much she had missed out on. Abigail had even gotten into college!

"WOW! THAT'S AMAZING, ABIGAIL! WHY DIDN'T YOU GO? IT SOUNDS LIKE SO MUCH FUN!"

Her eyes lit up with amazement. She couldn't imagine knowing someone who was an actual college student. She wondered who else she might know that has been to college or accepted into one. Surely someone as educated and regal as Alexander had been to one before. Maybe she would ask him next time they met. Abigail inquired as to if Raven would come to the birthday party and Alexis smiled wider at the thought of introducing her two friends.

"I'M SURE SHE WOULD LIKE THAT. I WOULD TOO. I'LL INVITE HER."

She couldn't help her curiosity about Abigail's family, having never really opened up to another Were this much before. Raven's past was so tragic that she never wanted to pry and Raven didn't really know much about her family to begin with. Everything was just a big blur for her. Frost was too mysterious to indulge anything about himself so Abigail might be her only chance to ask about another Were upbringing. At least Abigail seemed happy enough to indulge her. Her eyes widened at the idea of someone asking to be turned. She'd heard of times where a Were fell for a human and they did it to be together always and then she'd heard of the times a Were lost control and accidentally bit a human and turned them. She always felt sorry for those humans who might never fully understand what they are until it's too late and then they're abandoned on their own to figure it out alone. It was just sad to think about.

But at least Abigail's story was a good one. Her parents loved each other and wanted to be together always so her father changed her mother. It was a love story and Alexis was going to hold onto it.

"THAT SOUNDS AMAZING."

She admitted. A laugh left her lips when Abigail said she wanted to try her coffee. She shook her head with a grimace.

"BELIEVE ME, YOU DON'T. I DON'T MAKE THE COFFEE. I JUST WRITE DOWN WHAT THE CUSTOMERS WANT AND SERVE IT TO THEM WHEN IT'S MADE. WE HAVE MACHINES THAT MAKE IT BUT I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO WORK THEM YET. I CAN TAKE YOU THERE ANYTIME YOU WANT TO GET ONE THOUGH. I'M SURE MY BOSS ALEXANDER WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU."

Her cheeks blushed at the thought of Alexander. She wondered what Abigail would think of him being a hunter. Would she automatically judge him or have an open mind? She didn't really seem like the judgemental type.
