West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

The Moose as their opponent was not the ideal creature that she should be facing for her first time back within the ring. His antlers weren't the problem. It was his hooves that reminded the she-wolf of the alabaster horse that crushed her over, and over again. Being kicked across the arena was enough to not only knock the air out of her, but to bring back that unsettling fear and trauma that came from those terrible memories resurfacing. Lying there she could actually feel the pain in her side, the girl surely bruised terribly underneath her ebony fur. Brining herself to stand the pain increase, breathing became rather difficult. She knew she had to reach the other side of the arena to provide assistance to her mate, and show their audience she wasn't weak. It would not do the pack well if others knew there was a weak link. Seeing the moose thrash about with the spotted jungle cat, attempting to hang on cause concern to slowly override the pain she felt both physically and mentally. As one hoof flung into her mate's ribs, the she-wolf snarled angrily. Taking a step forward she bit back a cry, feeling the pain intensify. Yet seeing her mate in peril was enough to motivate the woman to move.

Quickly she makes her charge appreciating the adrenaline that kicked in, that helped hide the pain she felt moving and breathing, if only for a moment. Lunging for his throat, the movement natural, as she sunk her teeth into his throat. As the hoofed creature fell, she continued snapping her jaw open and shut, taking whatever she could of his throat. The crowds roar was deafening and it seemed only to encourage her to continue the assault. Even the shouts from Jackal could not be heard. It was the low call from her mate that she could hear that caused her to stop. Blood dripped slowly from her muzzle down her grey-marked chest. Blue-grey eyes looked around as she noticed how the others cheered, Jackal coming over to shoo her off and let the moose walk away in defeat. All the ranging emotions were far too much for her to handle. Going back to her mate she stood there, leaning into him, needing him close not just to reassure herself all was well, but to calm herself down as well. The threat was eliminated. The message was read loud and clear to all. It was best to simply leave them alone, but more importantly, to leave her alone. She had shown them, and herself, that she was capable of going back into the ring.

She allowed Tobias to lick her face with his sand-paper like tongue, permitting this display of affection. She could actually feel him purr, his spotted form rattling her own. Gently she nuzzled him quite lovingly, her tail swaying back and forth in a delighted manner. It was his huff that signaled her it was time to go. Feeling his tail slide against her as they began to walk she did herself to show she was not in pain. As she walked she held back a wince, leaning into him for support, and allowing him to lean into her for support as well. She ignored whatever comments the patrons made in regards to them winning, or any lewd remarks about them leaving them and heading upstairs. The she-wolf was simply happy that it was all over and done with. It was when they made it up the stairs did she start to wince, lowering her dial and leaning it into his uninjured shoulder, feeling the pain return. With a relieved sigh she used her telekinesis to shut the door behind them, obeying her mate's command to shift. With a sharp cry she shifted back into her human form. Seeing his shoulder worry could be seen briefly in her eyes, concerned to see his shoulder bruised in such a way. Yet before she could ask him a question, she felt his long nimble fingers curling around the belt of her jeans pulling her forcefully against him. When his lips pressed against her roughly, she instantly melted and returned the gesture.

It was all simply too much. The woman was being overwhelmed by her emotions, hormones, and the adrenaline of a successful fight. It was natural for her to want to be with a mate that cannot only protect, but provide as well. In nature only the strongest survive. Those that were fit in both mind and body were capable finding a mate. It was true that she did not appear physically strong, what with the scars that mauled not only her face, but across her body was a sign that she was weak. Others would claim that with the way Tobias acted his mind simply wasn't like everyone else, he was different and in a bad way. The others could not see just what lied beneath the surface. Each scar that was permanently marked into her pale flesh was a testament to her capability of having inner strength. No one could see just how clever Tobias's mind worked, calculating plans and solving before anyone else could consider those unique options in the first place. In a way they had found their equal. Motivated by wants and needs she eagerly kissed him back, feeling the urgency he had, and knowing she could fulfill it. However, when he placed his hands along her side she broke the kiss, crying out softly, as she took a step back. Along her side crawling up, her skin was turning rapidly dark blue to black, evident that a rib was broken.

That pain brought the girl out of that heated intense haze of want and replaced it with perhaps a bit of sanity. Both of them were covered in blood and it would not do her well to have blood of their opponents everywhere within the room. That bruised shoulder of his would need some healing and although he could heal quite quickly, she would have to endure the pain for a while. Sadly there will be no 'fun' tonight. Gently her hand went to his own, as she held it firmly, squeezing it in an encouraging fashion. Gently she leaned in to kiss his forehead, brushing it against his own in feline fashion. Quietly she walked towards the bathroom, keeping her hand on his own, and gently guiding him. As they entered the bathroom she let go of his hand and wordlessly went to the shower, turning it own, and only a little bit of water came out. She knew quite well this would not be something he would be happy about and yet she was determined. They could kill two birds with one stone. With a small grin she placed his hands gently at the bottom of her shirt, allowing him to have some control and take her clothing off, her own hands stroking his cheek gently, murmuring softly.

"We need to get clean Tobias, and I know a way how where the water will not hurt you, but you have to trust me. You trust me, right?"
