West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was intriguing to him, that fashion in which Henry moved to lean away from him as Tobias strode so deliberately into the other man's personal space. Tobias a decidedly more...canny being then he ever truly appeared. The young man wholly aware of just what he was doing in those moments in which he so pressed uncomfortably close to the other fellow, testing the boundaries of both Henry's patience and submissiveness and too- asserting his own dominance with that subtle, simple physical gesture rather than any words. Tobias so rarely given to voice his intentions after all, not when words so often proved difficult. The manner in which Henry stepped back from him was pleasing in some fashion, soothing those metaphorical bristles before those fathomless dark eyes fixated with a near child-like delight on Henry's hair. His fingers reached easily outward, plucking at a single lock as if to examine it, the boy wholly aware of Tetradore all the while, Tobias near abnormally...attuned to his closet of companions and entirely prone to mimicking Tetradore's mannerisms and moods in every sense. That emerald-eyed man, for now, hardly seemed perturbed with his actions and as such Tobias continued that bizarre examination that seemed to hold some importance to him. The boy at last declaring Henry's hair....satisfactory at best, those words mumbled from his lips before he proceeded to make clear those belongings within the Ark that were exclusively his own. Tobias decidedly possessive creature in every sense of the word over those things he perceived as belonging to himself. That chair and Raven so falling within those categories. Tetradore too, so firmly fell within his mind as a being beneath his protection though, for now, Tobias hardly made mention of such a thing. His eyes held firmly against the unfortunate Henry until the made nodded in assurance.

That mention that he was 'taken' momentarily saw that deviants head tilt, that tousled black hair falling into his eyes with the gesture, his features seeming almost innocent in that moment before shifting into a near blank stare, as if he had failed to comprehend the words at all and perhaps he had. Some words, some phrases, simply did not exist for him. He understood 'taken' and yet not in the fashion Henry had proceeded to use it as a word. Tobias' eyes merely narrowing slightly as if he wholly suspected Henry to be admitting to having taken something from them. The man's sudden admittance that it was complicated resulting in a huff of sorts for the deviant before he proceeded to tumble into his favoured chair beside his best friend and brother.

"Do not.....like....things that....are complicated."

Those stuttered words fell from his lips once more, the young man clearly capable of comprehension (when he cared to try) and yet despite so having understood that sentence it seemed he no longer cared to bother to try and understand the rest. If Henry was thieving from them he was sure to find out. The very nature of his affinity so assuring that hiding anything, or anyone, from Tobias was an impossibility. His dark eyes shifted briefly back to Raven then, his features seeming to soften in a fashion at the sight of her, the woman making some effort to excuse his behaviour. The simple sound of her voice seeming to please him as he merely watched that interaction, eyeing Henry warily a moment more before turning his attention to Tetradore, his head resting in his hand in an almost boyish fashion as he spoke abruptly to his companion. That soft assurance spoken to the leopard alone was met with a momentary frown and yet those words he understood in every sense. Mine. That single, simplistic phrase holding a depth of meaning to the deviant and what remained of his fractured mind. If Henry so belonged to Tetradore then he was Tetradore's property he was for...protecting, not harming. That understanding readily seeming to solidify within the boys mind as his own head gave that single, simple nod of acceptance. Tobias was a decidedly....simple creature, in some sense at least. Tetradore's claim over Henry all the man needed to find that acceptance of him and too, so provided Henry refrained from claiming those things Tobias deemed his own and remembered his place the leopard was largely inclined to tolerate his existence. Tetradores words echoed again then, the Alpha so verbalising just those intentions Tobias had displayed with his pointing and singular phrases, the emerald eyed man simply affirming them in ways Tobias could not if only so Henry was entirely clear. Tetradore so effortlessly perceiving the true intent behind them and just how harmful he might be if allowed.

The manner in which Henry so suddenly threw his arms up as if to proclaim his innocence drew the deviants gaze once more, Tobias eyeing the man with that same blank stare, the boy ceasing to so much as blink for a near unnaturally long moment in time before his head proceeded to tilt once more as if this bizarre gesture or arms was curious to him. His gaze flickered briefly from Tetra, to Raven and back again as if attempting to gauge their reactions and so formulate his own. Tobias suddenly throwing his own hands upward in much the same fashion if only to....test it. The boy promptly seeming to decide such a thing was hardly worth his effort, his interest in Henry lost now that he had simply accepted the mans presence, his hand reaching into his pockets to fish about as if searching for something. Tobias glancing upward only at Tetradore's continued introduction.

"He....Hen....Henry."

That word was tested several times before the boy seemed to master it, a lopsided grin touching his features in pleasure at the sound, Tobias repeating it twice more before proceeding to produce an entire mixed bag of candy from one pocket. An almost delighted snicker fell from his lips, as if he was greatly pleased to have discovered it himself, that mixture of chocolate, gummi bears and sour worms the veritable holy grail of sugar and sweetness as he plucked a single treat from that bag. That tasty little bear was slipped between his lips, Tobias chewing readily before his gaze glanced sideways, meeting the emerald eyes of his companions own for a single wordless moment. An entire unspoken conversation, it seemed, had so passed between the pair, Tobias so instinctively seeming to know just which treat Tetra desired as he reached into that bag to produce several sour worms and place them in Tetradore's already outstretched hand before settling back within his own chair. That announcement that Henry had been made by the Alpha seeming to prompt truly little reaction from the boy. Tobias simple accepting. His gaze examining Henry again as he continued to speak to Tetra alone.

"He is....nice. Does he....do fighting....in ring?"

He commented simply, as if appraising Tetradore's work. Those dark eyes fixated with intensity upon Henry once more as if anticipating this answer. After all, so much of what their pack did revolved around those fighting rings. Tobias anticipating Henry had been created for just that purpose. A few squares of chocolate suddenly levitated within his hand before flying gently to Raven for his mate to take. His eyes remaining on Henry. Tobias so having pilfered that power of telekinesis from Raven for that display alone before those stuttered words were aimed at Henry alone now.

"Do....you...like to fight?"

A single gummi bear levitated from his hand then, gliding softly through the air to hover in front of Henry now for the man to take. Tobias so rarely ever chose to share food in any sense, especially not sugar and yet it was....perhaps his method of....acceptance of that thing that was Tetradores own- nontraditional as it surely was. Nothing and no one would bring harm to Henry with Tobias content to watch over him in turn.

One gummi bear was all he was getting though. One. Tobias is not that generous....
