West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He looked over at Raven as she came to stand near him at the bar. He listened to her quietly talk about how it was good to let their other half out, to allow their aggression to be taken out in the appropriate manner. What Raven didn't know about Henry was that A. He couldn't control his animal half. The only time he had been in a semblance of control was when Tetradore had pulled his consciousness out. He wasn't sure he could do that on his own. And B. His animal half was the reason for his current drinking problem. In this moment, he hated his animal half. His animal half is what had gotten him into trouble. It wasn't a part of himself that he really wanted to embrace. He wished it would just go away with time.

He took another sip of the whiskey and let the ice cubes clink against the glass as he set the glass down on the napkin the bartender had set out before him. "Truthfully...I'd rather not let my other half out." He resented his were heritage. It had only caused him heartbreak and it was far too difficult to see any beauty that might come of it. Perhaps in time he might come to respect his animal half, but right now, he felt so lost and out of control. He didn't feel like himself at all.

He looked up at Tetradore and Tobias when Raven looked up at them. He was a failure. Surely there was someone far more worthy to be in his position. He didn't feel right here. It was foreign and strange â€" as if he was tossed into a foreign country where he didn't speak the language. Raven said that he wasn't a lost cause and Henry wished he could believe that. He felt like a lost cause. "How much time?" He really just wanted his life to go back to how it was. He didn't want to be a were â€" it was forced on him. But that was something he didn't go around telling people.

Henry tried to change the subject, to try and ask if working at the Ark was something he needed to do now that he was part of the pack. He had a job (or had one...he doubted he still had it now) but he needed to at least try to make it seem like he was trying. If all he did was sit around and drink himself into a stupor, then he would no doubt only upset the pack.

He finished his second (maybe his fourth? He had lost count) glass of whiskey when Raven suggested he leave the alcohol alone. He figured that was a nice way of saying he should consider not taking the role of the pack drunk if he could help it. Slowly, he slapped some bills on the bar for the bartender and he slowly slipped out of the barstool as he turned to follow Raven. "What did you have in mind?" Henry was a little worried it involved shifting. Unfortunately...that was something he hadn't mastered yet. The only times he had shifted had been against his will during the full moon or when Tetradore had forced the shift on him. Instantly, Henry grew a little nervous. He swallowed a gulp of nerves as he followed Raven away from the bar.
