West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

How he detested the sound of that shower. Even here. Even now. That water raining down upon those tiles. He could almost picture it. Those water droplets beading upon those tiles and glass until it ran into rivulets to join that small pool at the bottom. He could hear it. He could smell it. Tobias focusing his attention on those farm animals in his hands now as if seeking a distraction. Why....was he holding these? He could hardly remember. That other side of him seeming to have felt they were important or needed somehow. The man no longer able to remember how or why. Tobias placing them gently on the floor at his feet, his head shaking softly as he stood. Did he truly never wear shoes? Were these the only jeans he owned? Why on earth Raven had agreed to marry him when he walked about like this he never knew. His own head shook softly again, the boy rising to his feet then as Raven finished up in that shower. One hand lifted to run through his black locks as he wandered towards his wardrobe in some effort to find something more presentable. Those neatly folded clothes had a way of bringing that smile to his lips, his fiancés handiwork on clear display as the man moved to select those black jeans and a clean shirt. That fabric had no sooner been shrugged over his shoulders and pulled into place than that bathroom door opened- his golden gaze turning towards Raven then as she stumbled from that room draped in that towel and attempting to dry those curly locks.

His own features softened readily at the sight of her. The man momentarily eyeing his fiancé before crossing that room towards her, stepping behind the woman smoothly as she hunted for her own clothing. Tobias content to derail her efforts as one arm looped gently around her waist, tugging her softly against the hard plains of his own figure as his head tilted just enough to allow his lips to press almost teasingly to the warm skin of her neck. His lips brushing along that sensitive place as his free hand lifted to gently pull her damp hair aside and allow himself all the more access.

"Good morning."

The words were uttered almost softly against her skin. His lips pulled into a smile against her as his head rested on her shoulder with that clear affection. He was afforded so little time with her. So little chance to exist in her space and presence without the haze off his more dominant personality so clouding each and every memory and moment. He had seen that proposal. He had seen her delight and joy and yet he had not yet been afforded that chance to enjoy it with her, not properly, not until now and even so- how much time did he truly have? A part of the man unwilling to rush it all the same. Tobias refusing to allow his own limitations to limit her in turn or allow her to see that worry that existed within himself for just when he might cease to exist once more. Damned back to that existence of so eternally looking through those eyes like a window he could never seem to open when he desired. His words never making it out. Lost and jumbled in a body and mind that failed to work as it should even if that intention remained. Today would not be about him. No. Today was about her. As it should be. As all those days should be and never were. Tobias forcing that almost rueful smile from his lips then, if only to prevent her seeing it. Why did he always have such little time?

"Let me see it then, hmmm?"

His head continued to rest upon her shoulder as his hand trailed down her left arm to gently encircle her wrist and lift her hand upward to hold before them both. That blue diamond engagement ring nestled upon her finger stirring that genuine grin to his lips once more. How pleasing it looked there. That entirely possessive part of him almost satisfied with its presence even if he hardly dared to mention it. The boy content to release her hand once more, his own coming to rest on her hip, content to keep her against him as he sighed softly.

"I thought, if you like, I might take you out to the mall today. For....shopping. I know it's early but I'd like to get you an engagement present while I'm here to do it. It's old fashioned I know but I'm a little old fashioned- apparently."

madness, as you know, is like gravity: all it takes is a little push
