West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It was a decidedly rare thing, in any sense, for Tobias to admit he was 'bad' at anything. The boy near notorious in his belief that he was, in fact, exceptional at nearly every task he so decided to perform whether or not he truly achieved that goal correctly or otherwise. For all his inability, for all the illogical sense of his mind the shaggy-haired deviant possessed a desire of sorts to simply....be like those around him. He understood, on some level, that he was different to Raven and Tetra and Alexis and all those others within their makeshift pack even if he could not truly comprehend why. He desired to do those things Tetradore did if only for that simple sense of...belonging. Even if the deviant creature would hardly admit to such a desire or even truly understood it in any sense. Tetradore's assurance that everyone was surely bad their first try seemed to do little to please the gangly Leopard, Tobias content to continue to frown. Patience for mastering any skill hardly within the boys skillset. Tobias so eternally unable to understand why he was not so instantly as masterful at that driving as his best friend was.

That soft gesture to at least try again saw Tobias apply some measure of pressure to that accelerator, that clear hesitance on his features surely indicating at least some ability to remember that cause and reaction from before. The deviant unwilling for that car to fly forward again and throw them both against their seatbelts as it had done before. He was aware on some level of Tetradore's hand tightening against the door in anticipating of just that lurch, the boy all but creeping along the road now- walking surely a faster method of transportation then that slow progression and yet that approaching turn seemed to dictate every possible ounce of his focus. Tobias in possession of a notoriously short lived attention span, the boy so seemingly attempting to fixate every part of his energy on painfully slowly navigating that turn, the wheel sliding through his hands as he crept around that bend. That way in which Tetradore at last relaxed seemed to see his shadow relax in the same fashion. Tobias distinctly aware of Tetradore in near every possible way. After all, he had spent a good portion of his childhood at his companion's side. He knew Tetradore better then he knew any other. He understood his companion and those subtle shifts in stance or mood even before, it seemed, Tetradore himself on some occasions. That relaxation easing his own tension and yet the boy hardly seemed to increase his pace. That car at last making that turn entirely.

That declaration that he had achieved it readily saw that grin find his lips, Tetradore's hand reaching over to ruffle his hair in that touch of brotherly affection only seeming to further delight the boy as he allowed that car to continue to roll forward and toward the next bend. That sudden declaration of words however seemed to draw Tetradore's attention, Tobias, seemingly, having only merely just remembered them. Those garbled words attempting to explain this visit from a 'friend' the night Tetradore had been away attending to one of those treasured cars. It was rare in any sense for Tobias to remember any individual, let alone allow one to carry out a conversation with him, much less declare any like for them. His features frowned in concentration though whether at the road itself or at attempting to remember 'what friend' remained to be seen. Tobias muttering almost nonsensically to himself for several moments before glancing toward Tetra once more, those words struggling free of his lips at last.

"He said.....he.....come back later.....and he brought.....present for Tetra but....I ate some."

That almost sheepish look seemed to find the boy then, Tobias decidedly good at pilfering any food left out by anyone at any time, let alone being entrusted to deliver something to Tetradore himself. That very assurance he had not eaten all of it however perhaps some display of that respect he held for his Alpha all the same. Anyone else's gift, after all, would have been eaten in its entirety. The boy silent for a few moments longer before that singular name, though incorrectly spoken, seemed to find him.

"Matt-tay-o."

The name was sounded rather than spoken and yet it was surely clear enough all the same, Tobias glancing toward his companion as if seeking some assurance the man understood just what he was saying before he turned that corner successfully once more. That car coming to a stop with the announcement he desired to go backward. Tetradore's ready agreement only further seemed to inspire the deviant, that car put easily into reverse before those instructions were offered, Tobias turning around within his seat to look behind him. Using those mirrors clearly having not occurred to him in any sense as his foot found that accelerator once more. The boy, this time, had so seemingly managed to find just the right speed to go at, the car rolling backward and yet not to terribly fast or slow. The deviant resting one hand on the wheel, the other beside him as he near effortlessly piloted that car backward with a far more substantial skill and control then his ability to go forward had ever shown. As if, somehow, the very reverse of those directional turns so required to back up a car, seemed to apply more accurately to the way his very mind so seemed to be programmed.

His foot pressed more firmly on that accelerator then, that car speeding up as they approached that turn, Tobias near one-handedly spinning that wheel, sending the car around that turn at a far more significant speed before sending it straight down the runway again in a manner almost....flawless. That the deviant could somehow drive backward and not forward perhaps decidedly bizarre. That car brought to a stop a moment later. That bright grin reflected back at Tetradore once more.

"Can I.....drive the car home.....going....backwards?"

That this was surely something of a bizarre if not impossible request remained to be seen, Tobias perhaps failing to understand why they could not simply drive backwards everywhere nor why he seemed unable to go forwards. His attention returned to his companion then.

"I want to....get ice cream and then.....when get to....home.....I want to....play game with the...shooting and.....no girls.....no pack......just Tetra and Tobi."

Those dark eyes lifted to his companion once more, that request for ice-cream and video games without any girls or pack or anything in between surely clear. Tobias simply desiring that further time to spend with his companion. His gaze briefly turned back to that runway once more, one hand lifting suddenly to point into the darkness ahead, a singular ramp situated upon that tarmac, the very sort used to load luggage on and off those trucks and planes. Those dark eyes finding Tetra once more.

"Can....I drive.....off that?"
