West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya was grateful for the butcher to finally appear and hand over the bag of meat. The cold was beginning to get to her and the only way to fix that was to walk. It was a little odd to have the company walking back but not at all unpleasant. It was actually a welcome addition. It was high time that the individuals within the pack began to do things together. "I feel like that sometimes too about the human form. The senses are much more dulled so it can feel like you're blind. When I had my feral period it was a huge adjustment to be back in my human skin." Nadya could at least relate to that part. It was why she spent most of the time in her feline form if she had her twins with her in the woods. She just felt stronger and more capable of protecting them that way.

There was no hurry in the panther's strides, allowing the pair to converse in their own time. She tried to offer the coyote reassurance how it was nice that Frost didn't manage where the members went and who they hung out with but her response made it difficult to know how to react. "Well....my last Alpha was my brother, Tet. I'm sure you know of him. He meant well, he's a good man towards others, but we just disagreed on a lot. His only demand was that I stay away from Frost. The pressure wasn't really from him but from another individual in the pack who threatened my position as beta all the time." Although her last meeting with Tet had left a sour taste in her mouth and hardened her heart towards helping her old pack, she knew he was completely different towards others.

Nadya's question about the house was a valid one as it related to the adjustment to human life but Malia assured it wasn't. The panther's golden gaze flickered to the small canine in surprise that it was because she didn't have a job. How often was it that someone actually wanted to do something. She supposed it was expected having come from an animal pack where jobs were the very basis of survival. It seemed Frost had overlooked that detail of the woman's transition. "Oh, if you want a job I'm sure Frost can assign you something. ...In the meantime....why don't you join me for the hunts?" It might not be much but the more there were in numbers then the more efficient hunting became. It would mean not having to be out in the cold for as long.

It wasn't Nadya's job to tell Malia what to do, she wasn't beta in this pack, but she could offer her company for now. Nadya's thoughts mulled over anything else that Malia could help her with until Frost gave her something else to do. It was then that Malia's curve ball topic made the panther nearly drop the bag of food. Nadya fumbled slightly, her eyes widening in surprise. "I...uh.." What had brought that question about?! Never before had anyone asked her about her intimate life. "Frost was....no, it's not normal. Most men who follow you around aren't trying to get a relationship out of you either, they're mostly just there to sleep with youâ€" uh...mateâ€" with you then leave you right after. Those guys you have to be careful about. Those guys aren't the good ones and should stay away from." That much Nadya was entirely sure Malia needed to know and heed. The last thing she wanted for her pack mate was to experience that heartache.

"Frost and I can't have kids, our species are too different. Tobias and I are both felines so it happened." At least that's what the pair believed as neither had ever heard of cross-species pregnancies. "We also don't do it all the time either." She couldn't help the amusement that danced in her eyes. They did frequently find themselves entangled but there were other responsibilities that were tended to first before they were able to find that private moment together. "Being in a relationship is much different than being mates in the animal world too. You aren't required to have children, it's a choice you can make. There are a lot of ways to prevent getting pregnant. You can take precautions before...during..or after." This was definitely not where Nadya had expected the conversation to end up but if this was what Malia had meant by needing another girl to talk to then she would oblige as much as she could. Oh how she could only imagine Frost's face if he knew that their intimacy was being discussed.

"Are you interested in someone?..." Nadya couldn't image any other way this line of questioning had come about unless Malia had found someone she fancied.
