West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It really meant a lot to her that he decided to tell her this story of his upbringing. It helped her understand him that much more and what drove him. He was emotionless because Hunters had preyed on those emotions, keeping his mother captive just to lure him back so they could recapture him. But his mother saw his strength. She trained him to be the alpha he was today because she could see the power in him. She liked this side of Frost. She was sure she wouldn't see a lot of it so she appreciated it while it lasted. Malia knew well about protecting one's emotions so you didn't get hurt. She was good at that herself but she was also fiercely protective of those she cared about and as her alpha and friend, Frost fell under that category. She wanted to help him anyway she could. He seemed unwilling to agree with her when she said that his mother had taught him to be an alpha because she knew he would be great at it. Since Frost was usually so confident, almost arrogant, Malia wasn't expecting this reaction. She smirked a little in amusement. So he could be modest about some things.

He seemed determined to explain Hunters to her though and the real danger that came with them. She only knew of hunters that brought guns and dogs into the woods with them, usually searching for deer or turkeys. She didn't know there was a supernatural kind of Hunter. When she asked if you could identify a Hunter from a weapon, she noticed the scowl and wondered if it was strange to keep an arrow she had been shot with. Did he expect her to just throw it away? No, she was going to use it for revenge some day. She furrowed her brow, attentively listening as he told her to look at the shaft of the arrow and see if it said KohlTec or if the arrow was silver. She thought about it and nodded. She had the arrow in her room so she would take a look at it. Then she asked why the Were's couldn't just band together and drive out the Hunters. She saw his lip quirk almost as if he was amused but then he shook his head. Then he explained that Hunters have powers like them. She scowled. Well darn. She didn't think about that.

It looked like they even had what they call a Council. Sounded like a group of Alphas that just told everyone else what to do if you ask her. But they had ways of contacting other Hunters from anywhere. She could see where that would be a problem. She sighed. "Fine. Why don't we have a database on Hunters then? At least the local ones? I bet if we were to collect data on them just like they do on us, eventually we could outsmart them. It's not about the numbers if you have the strategy." She wasn't one to give up, even against major odds. She wasn't ready to know that there were other supernatural beings in the world though. Vampires and fairies? It just sounded like fairy tales. She listened attentively as he told her that vampires come out at night and that she would smell death on them. She nodded, reminding herself to check for that more often when she's out. Then he said that fae were endangered and there weren't many of them and they were good at hiding. Her eyes widened but there was a spark of curiosity. Now a game of hide and seek, that sounded like fun! She wondered if there were any in Sacrosanct. She wanted to find out!

She took in the hints he gave her. Pointy ears, maybe wings. Immortal so they probably don't age. He said he'd met one and she smiled, eagerly thinking of her own Easter Egg hunt. She was determined to find a fae now. She didn't have any more questions for now. He then jumped to the subject of his mom and she pushed for him to take her with him. He told her he may need her in Iceland but if not, he would need her here as Alpha. Her brows shot up. "Alpha? Frost, I can't be Alpha. I don't even know half the pack." She snorted. It was ridiculous. She figured he would have Nadya as his stand in or something. She was his girlfriend and had way more experience in Were packs than Malia did. Surely he had better candidates. She was glad to hear that the ongoing drama between the two Were packs of Sacrosanct had come to a peaceful end. Then he asked about her former pack and how they recruited members. She was quick to correct him in thinking that Caesar had anything to do with the growing coyote pack that had made a temporary home in Sacrosanct before she left them.

He told her she was ahead of her time and she tilted her head, unsure what that meant. Then he said that she was talented and she snorted. "Or just tired of scavenging off carcasses that barely had anything on them by the time we got there. I knew we could do better. We had teeth and claws for a reason. I just wanted to use them." She teased him about cheating in their battle and he rolled his eyes but she could see the playful glint in his eyes. She smirked as he said all's fair in love and war. She snorted. "An honest win is worth more any day. Luckily for you, I found out you're not half bad for an alpha before I changed my mind." She winked playfully at him and snickered. Then he jumped to business, saying he knew there were other Were's in Sacrosanct without a pack and he wanted them in his pack. He wanted to know if she could help out. She grinned. "I'm sure I can find a way to send them your direction."
