West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

He could tell Kat was confused by all this, her gaze turning to him in puzzlement as the warlock continued to spew out all his crap about Eve and the new beginning. At her question, he snorted. "It is to them. They truly believe that a vampire giving birth is going to flip the world on its own axis, so to speak. I believe it's utter bull, myself. But I'm not the one who needs convincing. What do you think?" He leaned forward a little on the last part, searching her expression as he waited for her reply. He could tell she was worried. He could smell it on her skin. It made her that much more tempting and he had to fight the urge to let his canines extend. He was disciplined though so he merely smirked and looked at the warlock again.

When he mentioned killing the man, she flipped out, saying that was the point of her coming. He tilted his head, speaking to her softly and with the patience of talking to a child. "Well, sure, but I figured once you saw the evil you were dealing with, you'd agree with me that his death was the better solution. I didn't think you'd be so stubborn." His eyes twinkled as he smirked. She stepped toward him and he tilted his head, raising a brow at her in curiosity. Would she really attack him? He'd hate to have to hurt her. She was actually turning out to be quite the good partner in crime since his last witchy sidekick went MIA on him.

She looked downright annoyed when the warlock chose that moment to throw curses at her so Damon took it upon himself to defend her honor, so to speak. When the man didn't comply, he used his power on him and the man proved himself to be quite the pansy, screaming like a woman giving birth. Kat put her hands over her ears much to Damon's amusement until she turned on him, saying she didn't want anyone harmed. He snorted and rolled his eyes. "Says the one cutting off air supply to get answers."

It seemed only then did she figure out what the man had said, rounding back on the warlock to ask what he'd said. Damon scowled thoughtfully as he watched the exchange. He could practically see the wheels in her head turning as she started to deny it but then stopped. His brow rose. Ah, there it is, that moment of euphoria. At her sudden question, he grinned, his eyes giving her the answer even as he spoke. "What do you think? See anyone else who can make someone not breathe by simply looking at them?" He could see the relief on her features even as she waited for confirmation and it was almost adorable. The man spit toward them. "You're telling me she didn't even know what she was?! What sort of monster are you?!" Damon smirked at him. "The kind who's going to see you filleted like a fish before you and your kind touch a hair on my fiance's head."
