West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

They'll return but I'll be stronger

"Careful Tetradore, don't punch a gift horse in the mouth. I just wanted to do something nice."

My tone held a lighthearted note as I gave him a sweet innocent smile. I am well aware I called myself a gift horse, har har, laugh it up. Yep, I know it sounds hard to believe. That I'm just sneaking into an Alpha's bedroom and leaving delicious muffins on his bedside table every morning without some alternative motive. Sometimes, on occasion, people just want to do something nice for someone else without asking for anything in return. I know we only spent one evening together and it was a lot of fun, and yet the man was hardly capable of holding onto a smile for so long. Besides the Were-community talks and the man was known for being extremely gruffly and aloof. In one evening I did learn something about the Were-King, he likes sweets. So, I figured before the man starts his day he might as well be happy to see one thing. If that had to be a basket of muffins, then so be it! It is nice to hear though that my plan was actually working! All those early mornings of waking up and getting here before he woke up was really worth it. Crawling over to the empty side of his bed I happily make myself comfortable as he hands me a muffin. A small scowl appeared as I raised one eyebrow, wondering if this was an act, or if he was being serious.

"You know you really do have your priorities off. You're fine with anyone strolling in here why you sleep, but you'll come crashing down on someone by a mere insignificant crumb."

If the tables were turned I would be way more concerned about someone sneaking into my room, while I'm asleep, for months. A bed can be cleaned. You can wash the sheets, you can throw out the mattress and get a new one. But you sure as hell can't buy a since of security. I mean you could buy a security system and get yourself a well-trained guard dog, but I doubt you could ever sleep peacefully again. As I happily munch on the muffin I am mindful of making sure I don't leave a crumb. I am in his bed which means I am a real easy target for being skinned alive. I like my skin, thank you very much! Although if I had to die and it had to be within this bed, I could live with that. I know I shouldn't pry about his life. So, I let him go with that nonchalant response. It is his next choice of words that cause a very small smirk to appear. Taking one hand I gently slide my fingers through the top of his dark hair for a moment. I lean my shoulder against his own and tilt my head upwards. Keeping eye contact with him I speak quite softly.

"It takes a lot of effort, and we both know, you don't have that in you."

See I can play this game too! Taking my head out from his hair I easily slide off his shoulder and return my focus to finishing off that muffin. Listening to him rattle off the responsibilities he would have to take care of sounded quite depressing. Here I am about to enjoy my day off and he has to ruin my joy by listing off all the boring stuff he would have to do. It didn't seem right to leave him here at the Ark. Left to do not fun things. I know exactly how I'm going to spend my day off and I think the Were-King might enjoy what I have in mind! With my muffin all gone, and no crumbs on his bed, I hand him the muffin wrapper. With a sigh I clasp my hands in my lap looking up at him for a moment, quite happy to respond, because clearly my day was better than his.

"Well, that all sounds like a lot of fun. Today is my day off, I don't have to go to work and I don't have any training to do. Unfortunately, for you I won't be doing any baking. However, I can make that up to you. Although first you have to answer me this question, would you like to be friends?"

If I'm going to let him accompany me to what fun plan I have in mind, I want to make sure I'm going to do this with a friend!
