West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Syn

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Ever since the night they were attacked by two Dark Hunters the young woman was a little bit paranoid when she stayed in the warehouse. Although Lucian had done well to fortify the place as a great base, should it ever be attacked, she was still weary that the Dark Hunters could come back. When Syn burned down that night many Dark Hunters came around snooping and attacking any supernatural that moved. While she and Tobi were busy tending to their wounds she had heard the calls and cries of victims falling to their deaths. Surely with Syn destroyed many were searching for a new hang out and the Dark Hunters were waiting for their chance to spring. Raven had done her best to reassure herself that she would be fine here so long as she kept a low profile. Always she was a little bit more vigilant than usual, if she heard any odd noises she would go out and investigate. Yet tonight she was so absorbed with getting this right that when Tobi came up to the door she flinched and jumped in the air from shock as her eyes widen seeing the boy, barely grasping his question. As her heart began to return to its normal calm pace she would take the tube of cream and place another dab on her index finger and place it over her scar, rubbing the cream over it.

"I am trying to cover up my scars...see? I do not like how others stare at them...so...I want to cover them up."

Her response was soft as she looked up from her arm, blue-grey eyes meeting his dark heavy gaze. As the lanky boy approached closer her upper torso would turn in his direction, using her form to reassure him he can step in. Lifting her scarred arm she pressed her fingers, already dabbed with the cream, and placed it along her scar rubbing it into her skin causing the scar to look as if it disappeared...for a moment. The cream couldn't make the scars invisible, but it did help make the scar not look as deep as before. Continuing with her work she would start to repeat the movements before attempting to use the cream over her scars as quickly as she could. Though she wasn't able to get much done due to Tobi being...well Tobi. As her fingers to work again she noticed from the corner of her eye the mischievous actions beginning to take place. As the boy began to eat and chew on the lipstick she shook her head and grabbed one of the make-up remover cloths, stepping closer to him as her one hand went to rub his ears, to force him to hold still by her gentle touch, while using the other to aim for his face. Pink lips that did not have lipstick on it, pulled back to reveal a small grin as that soft voice carried a light giggle behind it.

"Tobi...that isn't supposed to be eaten...come here....you silly cat."

Most of this make up didn't belong to her. She hardly put any on herself. When she moved out of her home that was offered by her Sister Pack, Alexis needed a place to stay, and the best place to be was the warehouse. One day Nadya took Alexis shopping for make-up which caused the curly-haired woman to tune their conversation out looking for items that she felt were more in tuned for her certain needs. Hopefully Alexis would understand that her make-up was being destroyed by their mutual spotted feline. As she reached her hand to touch his face, the cloth would be cool as she managed to scrape some of the red off his cheek and chin, all the while her lithe frame was pressed against his and her other hand was rubbing his black ears. Raven had not noticed that Tobi had been watching her a bit more closely than usual. He was far too silent and she couldn't always seek him out. As she stopped standing on her tip toes to clean his face she noticed how pale part of his neck was where a single singed hole was there. Concern washed over her face as her eyes locked to his own pointing at his neck, where there remained still his collar from Syn, a note of concern and worry in her voice.

"Tobi how did you get that on your neck?"

After her question was asked she watched as his fingers began to glide down her forearm. A small frown appeared when his fingers rubbed over some of the visible and covered scars, not liking how his touch managed to mess the cream up and reveal those old jagged scars. Nodding her head at his comment she didn't have it in her to correct him. He had it technically right. As he began to pick up the items and play with them, she had managed to grab some items and place them in a bag, all to keep them from being ruined for Alexis's sake. When he asked her to look up, she tilted her head upwards wondering just what caught his attention, but it was when he felt his hands play with her hair did she turn to look at him, taking a sharp breath intake in shock of seeing the metallic pink in her hair. Turning on the sink, her place her hands in the water, caressing her golden-brown and metallic pink hair, wishing nothing more than to get them off. Turning the sink off when she managed to get some of them out, when she turned to face Tobi she was met with his dirty hands rubbing all over her face. All the while she was attempting to move her head away from his hands. When he was done she turned to look at the mirror her eyes going wide when she saw her reflection and his.

"Oh...my...gosh..."

Hearing Tobi say it was time to go she shook her head taking a step back. There was no way she would be going out to the pier dressed and looking like this. As his hand grabbed her own she felt him pull her to his side as he dragged her out. She looked awful and so did he. As he led her out the door she managed to grab her tattered hoodie, slowly putting it on as she kept asking Tobi not to make her go out. Yet no matter how hard she struggled and no matter what he said, he continued leading her out. Feeling the nippy cold autumn air her head would go side to side scanning the area- ever so wary of others, that she did not want to see, were watching them. A flicker of movement caught her eye as she noticed one fishermen see them and begin to run away. Uncomfortable she would press closer to the boy feeling a bit better when her shoulder brushed along his side. Her head tilted upwards seeing that goofy grin, unable to give him a serious look, due to his outrageous appearance. Looking around the dark alleyway, allowing her eyes to adjust to the darkness and barely lit area, she noticed a familiar coordinator lifting her hand and pointing it to him. Although she was not pleased with her appearance, or his, she was willing to allow herself to shift into her much preferred firm. Yet before she would do such a thing she felt it was best to travel as they were, even if they looked like idiots, if anything so she could keep herself from shifting. Ever since she got ran over by that car her form took a little while longer to change into, simply because she was still healing.

"The fish is that way, they'll still have it on the ship...so we'll have to be careful and..."

"Well...well...well...what do we have here"

The poor woman was interrupted by a sleazy masculine voice out of the darkness. From around other alleyways stood a group of males of various size dressed in sea workmen attire. Their body's scent mixed with the salty sea and the seafood they caught. All four of them had some nasty sneer on their face as they approached the duo. As two males began to circle the two, reaching behind them, the other two males simply walked closed towards them. One short plump man would reach out and stroke her arm as he walked by, coming from behind the Weres, while a taller and thinner man spanked Tobi's bottom. The leader of the group stood before the two with broad shoulders and a thick brown beard, while his second was an average size build with long blonde hair.

"Must be our lucky days boys....we have two fine looking young women here...what do ya say, should we have some fun before we go back to the ship?"

As the four males began to chuckle the young woman simply pressed closer into Tobi's side not liking this encounter one bit. The two males behind them would step in closer while the two males up front seemed to draw out long knives. The bearded man flashed Raven and Tobi a devilish grin as he brought the knife up to his yellow stained teeth, making a motion of waving the knife closer towards the curly-haired woman speaking gruffly, as his beady eyes stared hungrily at the two.

"This one already is banged up...I guess we can add her a brand new scar tonight?"

It would seem that the Drag Queen and the Lady of the Night were on call tonight- whether they liked it or not.
