East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

i hear the footsteps inside of me
Malek is a strange man or should we say; vampire. The ancient creature a mystery where even he, himself has a hard time unraveling. Immortality was terribly dull yet exciting, he loved his life and he hated it. It was at that exact moment as he strolls down the streets why vampires go crazy and let their animalistic side take over. Oh, there were days in which he wanted to let go especially when he could take the boredom no more!

Tonight, is one of those nights.

The sun has long since set as he reaches a hand to scratch at the beard on his face. He needed a distraction be it blood or someone to take to his bed and if all else failed he would drink himself senseless, or at least try to. Being a vampire had its quirks, sometimes it was hard to get trashed. Running a hand through his lengthy hair, he opted to wear it down tonight, only out of pure laziness. Wandering the streets, his delicate ears pick up the bass of music pouring out of a bar. Pausing, he glances in and shakes his head.

Malek needed something far more calming tonight, he wasn't at all appealed to sweaty people plastered against him at the moment. Instead, he makes his way down a few more blocks and finds a much quieter and classy bar. Slipping in quietly, he surveys the room, hazel eyes passing over the few people at the bar and tables. Moving fluidly to the end of the bar he takes a seat far away from everyone else and waves down the bartender.

Ordering a simple whisky straight, he sets his elbows on the table ignoring the looks he's receiving. Calming his power as much as he can, he's aware that every male and female had a slight allure to him, the straight men questioning their sexuality, yet no one approaches him tonight, which he is thankful. He suddenly decides that he would rather drink the night away. His apartment was lonely and though he never craved another's company, he did crave good alcohol when the bartender slides him his drink.

"Start a tab," he calls, his voice deep, resonating through the bar.

Malek had the type of commanding voice that could bring a crowd of people to their knees, he had a way with people, though it be unintentionally.
