East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha Cassidy

She was supposed to be playing the part of the regal Faerie Queen. Her intentions had been to come into Red on the Water with the grace and confidence that this meeting would require. Everything about this meeting was important. She knew nothing about the Isolt that she was supposed to be meeting other than that she ran the local coven. Was she nice? Cruel? Would she be open to hearing about diplomacy between them, or would she write them off as a threat and an enemy without hearing what Samantha had to say. She just wanted to protect herself and those that she held dear, and she hoped that an alliance between the two supernatural groups could only be in her best interest. So, despite the nervousness that wrecked her entire body, she had every intention of at least appearing like part. And yet she'd found herself instantly walking into a vampire. Great. This was not confident, especially considering that the woman instantly found herself stammering as she looked up at him.

He was handsome, undeniably so, and with his arms wrapped around her to steady her, she could feel the cold skin that was so common in vampires. She'd - truly - never been comfortable around vampires. She'd ran into them a few times before, but the first time that she'd really interacted with any was that night within the forest. She'd met two vampires that night, one who had fed off the poor Hunter Samantha had been trying to save (who had died because she couldn't) and the other vampire who had fed off Samantha. At least she had made it out of there alive, though she had left with nightmares and a fear of vampires as a result. But diplomacy. Diplomacy was important, and it was that alone that had the girl forcing herself to take a few steady breaths before she pulled herself back. The vampire was attractive. Though she had a boyfriend, the girl wasn't immune to a pretty face. But he would feed on her if he could, and it was that that had her nervous.

She tried not to hesitate as she asked for Isolt, though her voice came out in a stammering mess. She didn't particularly enjoy the way that he chuckled at her, and the girl tried to resist the urge to cross her arms and scowl. Instead, she merely eyed him, trying to make herself appear bored. "Are you quite done laughing at me?" She commented with a sigh, though truly her heart continued to thud from nervousness. It was his final sentence that had Samantha's head jerking up, her eyes wide with the surprise he felt. Future wife? Oh. That wasn't good to run into the boyfriend of the coven leader. He would be undoubtably important, and impressing him was a must.

"I'm sorry, I..." She shifted, holding her hand out as she forced a pleasant smile to her features despite her nerves. "I'm Samantha Cassidy. I'm the Queen of the local faerie monarchy. I'm here to meet with Isolt. I'd appreciate it greatly if you could help me find her. I..." She looked around. "I wasn't quite anticipating how busy your place would be. I should have asked for better instructions on how to find Isolt."
