East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The place was drab, it's success was hanging on by a thread.

And obviously it wasn't just because it was poorly cared for and the shots were clearly watered down. For a moment Amor thought the bartender hard of hearing for he hadn't asked for a Whiskey and Water. He didn't understand the point. Even when he has had someone try to explain him why one would mix with water. He scrunched his nose at the thought - at the taste of the weak Grey Goose.

However, it really did not matter.

The liqour had nothing to do with why he was here.

The bar was lacking due to the man that ran it all. There was no doubt that it was him, the way he was barking at the others. Others that gave even less of a shit than he did. It made Amor smirk; instantly scheming. The Romanian was a hard man to get along with, he had no friends. He hardly had manners and loathed the general public but his businesses flourished. Even in his absence. For Amor, if anything, was an actor. Say what they want to hear, give them what they want and in turn they do the same for him.

Simple enough.

He had noticed the other vampire mere moments after he stepped into the facility - as Amor just loved dark hair and petite frames. But business was business and to this dark Lord, that's all that mattered. His curiosity grew though, when it became obvious that her target was the same as his. He chuckles, sipping from his glass; out of habit more than desire. He didn't mind not getting his hands dirty; in fact, he preferred it that way. He could simply walk away right now and the place would be on the market in days.

But he couldn't leave it alone.

Mr. Constans had to know what ties these two had and why she saught his death. She needed to feed, there was no doubt but she clearly picked him out - so intently - from the crowd. Was this a personal vendetta or was this a blind tiger for the undead like his own? He had questions but the liqour was definitely not enough to keep him inside. Placing glass on the nearest surface, he moves to the doors and steps out into the night.

Only to immediately reach for his cigarette case; one not full of cigarettes but prerolled joints. Cigarettes were not worth the temporary turmoil he experiences just to partake. Stepping around the corner, he slowly wanders down the alley and along side of the bar. Leaning against the wall, he pulls a joint from case and a lighter from his pocket. Growling at himself, to himself as his muscle begin to tense - he looks down at the lighter.

Finally stretching his arms all the way out and away from his body, he swallows and tells himself to strike the lighter. But he can't. He groans, or perhaps even whines as he bounces a moment - collecting himself, trying to convince himself that he can overcome his phobia. He knew he looked ridiculous, hiding away from prying eyes as he battles himself over a controlled flame. A flame he has complete control over himself, one an inch tall.

His brows knit and he finally strikes the lighter to no avail. He growls again, this time a bit louder and uncaring of the possibility that someone may find him. Striking it a few more times with a few flinches, it finally lights - just in time for a door to swing open. Amor jumps, shouts and looks up, his face betraying him, portraying the fear he felt. The man that he wanted dead comes running from the door; Amor assumed Petra would soon be in tow.

Pocketing his things just in time, Amor reaches out and grabs the man by his throat with a wicked grin - as though he knew no fear. "Running out on business isn't very professional." He pauses, his eyes now nearly black, flickering between the others. "But after what I have seen, I couldn't expect any thing else." The man has no words and no way to speak them, Amor applied steady pressure until his huntress caught up to him.
