East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Tetradore was wholly unaware of the near intense scrutiny he was under as he accepted that peculiar muffin from the young woman. He was willing, at least, to try the sweet, even if he was fairly certain it was not exactly the sort of dessert he desired. He was hardly disappointed when his suspicions were confirmed, even after he swallowed that final piece of the cupcake. Quite on the contrary, Tetradore was altogether quick to place his own order of delectable treats he might actually enjoy, even if he knew particularly well that his chance at truly relishing in those sweets were particularly slim when left out in the kitchen of the Ark. It was near customary to tuck his own aside and yet, Tobias had a tendency to find even then. At the very least the boy would usually leave him one. His emerald eyes watched that glimpse of astonishment upon her features at the sheer size of that order and yet, it hardly lasted long before she was content to merely tease the man on his intention to eat it all. The truth of the matter left his lips but moments later and, quite frankly, he was almost surprised to be rewarded with the insistence of being fed here.

His eyebrows rose ever so slightly and yet, Tetradore said little in the way of a response. Quite on the contrary, he merely followed the woman as she led the way towards those back kitchens. This level of customer service was certainly something new. Even though his usual bakery was particularly friendly and eager to cater to his needs, they had never before invited him in the back of the store. The warmth of those ovens embraced the man's figure quite readily. His gaze swept over that small area and the goodies that had been set aside, already made. He watched as she pulled several racks of freshly made cookies from the oven, the sheer smell of them was nothing short of heavenly. He hardly complained as she insisted they needed to cool, after all, he certainly didn't want them to crumble anymore then she did. They were utterly perfect, the exact sort of thing that Tetradore had been damn near craving, given the rainy day outside. Even despite that offer to take as many as he wanted, the were-King had some measure of control, the man entirely capable of keeping his hands to himself.

Rather, Tetradore's vibrant eyes followed her as she brushed past him, only to offer him a chocolate cupcake that he certainly recognized particularly well. Even the ever stoic were-King was incapable of keeping that awe from his voice at that much beloved cake. He all too eagerly pulled that wrapping off the cupcake, biting into that warm, fluffy, chocolatey center with a near groan of contentment. Dear God, yes. It was delicious. He was altogether content to bask in that mere flavor as his gaze settled upon the woman, simply watching as she ran her finger through the chocolate frosting. A small frown crossed his lips at that action, the man almost unable to help that inquiry of what type of cupcake eater she was. Heaven forbid she was one of those weird...cupcake....sandwichers. Tetradore met that look she provided him near head-on and yet, he had hardly expected the woman to quite suddenly open her mouth, shoving far more of that cupcake past her lips then what was surely appropriate for her gender. He could hardly help that chuckle on his lips, his head shook ever so slightly from side to side. Point taken - she definitely wasn't one of those.

His gaze hardly strayed from her as he enjoyed that cupcake, that arched brow entirely clear upon her features even despite that chocolate that was all too clear upon her lips. That blunt statement from the girl prompted a small smirk upon his mouth. "Are you sure about that?" He inquired almost playfully. That sudden inquiry of his own staff, however, prompted a small shrug on his shoulders. "No, where else would they go? Pack is pack....though I would ensure they are properly educated on cupcake-eating technique." That sudden extension of her hand and that introduction of her name caused his gaze to shift towards her outstretched fingers. "Tetradore." He commented simply and yet, rather then slip his hand in hers, the man was altogether content to merely reach out to her, his finger easily drawing across the tender flesh at the corner of her lips to wipe that chocolate away. He stuck his finger in his mouth, entirely content to consume that chocolate. "You can't waste frosting." The man informed her but moments later. That inquiry of weather or not she could get him anything, however, caused his head to shake ever so slightly. After all, he was already getting exactly what he came here for.

That soft sigh and further mention of hot chocolate made his eyebrows raise ever so slightly. "Jesus, are you trying to put me in a chocolate coma?" He inquired. He had already just consumed a chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting. It was too much chocolate! "I'm fine, thanks though." The man continued, entirely unaware of the woman's insistence to ensure he didn't leave that bakery without a single desire unfulfilled. Oh, if only she knew the things he could desire.
