East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I thought you knew I was filthy rich
I thought you knew I never answer my phone
I thought you knew I was a late night with a bad bite I thought you knew.

A small, though nonetheless persistent, frown crossed the features of the Italian Prince. The navy hue of his irises was focused entirely upon the cellphone in front of him, his thumb slowly scrolling the email upon the screen. His inbox, of late, had been absolutely flooded with preparations for that impending virus within Italy - their administration all but scrambling to contain it before things got even further out of hand, if such was even possible. An audible sigh left the vampire's lips, the Prince intending to reply to the Mayor's inquiry before a minute movement from his periphery near immediately drew his attention. Whatever had disrupted those curtains near immediately ducked away, shifting the fabric in the process. Sebastian was, admittedly, hardly suspicious of the attention he had apparently garnered. After all, the royal couple tended to attract a crowd wherever they went. For a moment, he stared at those drapes, almost waiting for that inquisitive face to once again appear. When it didn't however, his navy gaze returned to his cellphone - just in time for the young woman to peek, yet again, over the seat.

The sound of her soprano lit once again distracted the vampire, the youthful fae apparently not content with merely staring at him. Then again...she certainly smelled lovely...and Sebastian was sure she would taste just as delicious. He flashed her a warm simper, those fangs safely tucked behind his lips as she informed him of the conundrum that afflicted her. A competitor for her blood, was it? The Englishman nodded, content enough to assist as he shifted towards the edge of his own partisan, he glanced around the curtain and towards the front of that designated VIP action. The very gesture rewarded him with a questioning glance from his own bodyguard, though Sebastian was quick to brush off the man's concern with a small shake of his head. He let the curtain fall back into place, his attention refocused upon the young woman as the Englishman regrettably informed her that her stalker was still attempting to barter his way into that restricted area.

He watched as that frown crossed her delicate features, her soprano voice expressing her discontent. Once again, a small simper crossed Sebastian's features as he nodded in agreement that, at the very least, she was well hidden. The vampire hardly hesitated, however, before his own affinity reached out towards her, the man effortlessly manipulated those chemicals that surrounded her in an effort to prompt a level of comfort within her. It was only once his work was done that the man gestured to the seat across from him, providing her with an invitation to join him. The fae seemed overly delighted to take him up on that offer for company, only for her attention to turn towards the drapes that separated her booth from the rest of the world. A glimpse of bemusement crossed his features as she so seemed to coil in anticipation of that action, the young woman near springing from her booth only to cross the threshold and into the safety of his own. The girl seemed the epitome of innocence as she introduced herself eagerly, that bright look within her silver irises reminded him of another naive girl he knew. "Good evening, Illy. I am Sebastian." He assured her, before she gestured beneath the table with an inquiry of she should hide. The idea prompted a small raise of his brow, the man certain he could think of other things she could do under that table that had nothing to do with hiding.

"Er....no, I think here will be fine." Sebastian commented, gesturing towards the area on the booth beside him. He watched as she slid into the booth beside him, the girl near wiggling in an effort to get closer towards him. It was her idle comment of his eyes, however, that prompted a soft chuckle within the Englishman. His head bobbed ever so slightly. "I have heard that before once or twice." The Prince replied, answering her wide smile with but a soft one of his own. That gaiety was short lived before an almost exasperated sigh left the girl's lips. Sebastian hardly expected an explanation of why Illy so sought to escape her stalker, after all, such was surely a natural reaction. His head tilted to the side as he listened to Illy's description of the vampire with red eyes. Her comment of the bruises that the man had left upon her saw his eyebrows furrow in a small display of discontent. It was short lived, however, before it was replaced with a look far more akin to bafflement. This..other vampire kissed her? And then told her he hated her? "No, darling, I don't think they are supposed to. A kiss should be a gentle sweet thing, something to be enjoyed. Did you like kissing him?" Well, he couldn't help but to be curious of this strange tale.
