East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Deeps snarls continues to rumble in the back of her throat as her massive frame trembled with searing rage. It was natural for the lupine to feel the need to protect her own. Serafina's small drops of her silver blood had such an overpowering effect on the she-wolf. At this point in time Raven had no distracting thoughts that would make her leave Serafina's side. Yes, she had been coming to her doorstep every now and then to watch her charge, soothing that empty ache she felt every time she was away from the raven-haired woman. Yet the more she was far away from Serafina and the longer she went without being near the witch, the pain would only increase only to be soothed when she was in Sera's presence. Not once had she heard Serafina call for her or mention that her presence was needed or appreciated. Yet Raven still felt obligated for an unspoken desire to make sure that no harm of any kind came to her.

Grey-trimmed ears twitched back and forth when she heard a peculiar shriek come from the pesky fairy. The lupine had never come across such a creature before and filed its kind to the 'must kill on sight' bin. It had threatened to take Serafina away from her adobe and that was just something Raven could not accept. As the dumpster slammed into the wall a smug looked appeared on her maw as she watched the creature retreat. Ebony skull would turn around as she noticed her dazed and injured charge being focused on the wisp of shadows the wolf had swirled around her. The shadows a trace of extra protection should the fairy had wanted to continue the fight. With a soft whimper the wolf would shift back into her normal size, her head still pressing against the woman's waist. It was oddly comforting to stand so close to the young woman it allowed Raven to feel content. Whatever ache she had within her was being slowly ebbed away all by standing and touching her charge. Gently her voice would slip easily into Sera's mind as she stepped back and looked up in the general direction where the fairy had left.

"Yes he is, and I wouldn't be surprised if he came back. I am sorry about the shop by the way...I hope I didn't do too much damage. I tried to be careful."

Keeping close to Serafina, not wanting to leave her side just yet, she would lead her through her backdoor. Standing quietly only when they reached the front of the shop. The spell book Serafina reads was lying helplessly on the floor with a variety of broken shards of glass from the vials that had been sitting on top of the shelves. Not many things were broken and thankfully the cleanup would be easy, but still the woman felt guilty for things being broken. Lowering her head the woman began to sniff the place out coming across the fallen cloth that the fairy had used. Its contents still abhorrently strong as she snorted that nasty smell out of her nostrils. Feeling a bit woozy she would shake her head to and fro, to force that scent to escape, as she took a step back from the cloth as if it were such a horrible thing. Blue-grey eyes shifted towards the witch as she cocked her head to the side, a bit curious.

"Why was he after you anyways? And what the hell was he?"

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
